Chris Nelson’s Doomben Best Bets Posted on October 30, 2020 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 4 No.8 Skins Lightly raced galloper from the David Vandyke yard who won his first two starts and should have won the third before resuming with a very tidy finishing effort here behind the speedy Sugar Boom a fortnight back. Fitter and up to a slightly longer trip tomorrow will suit him down to the ground, he’s also a winner on soft going which be all important. RACE 6 No.1 The Harrovian Super galloper from central Queensland shooting for 9 straight wins tomorrow and I can’t see any reason as to why he can’t get the job done once again! Brought to town last start he showed all the grit and determination he’s known for up north proving too strong for a good field at Eagle Farm over 1400m. He’s a proven weight carrier, handles all types of going and will relish the step up in trip. RACE 7 No.3 Red Chase Cracking run first up in the Weetwood closing strongly along the fence late before just a little flat second up here three weeks ago when staying at the 1200m trip. The step up to 1350m tomorrow is the key for him as his good run of form last prep was all around that distance range. Perfectly drawn he should get the right run and prove very hard to beat. Quaddie 3, 5 1, 4, 10, 13 1, 7 2, 6, 9 Market Market
