Chris Nelson’s Rosehill Best Bets Posted on October 30, 2020 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 5 No.12 Macroura We’re going to be racing on a very heavy surface at Rosehill tomorrow if the weather forecast is right suggesting we need to search for wet trackers. I’m very confident we’ve found one here in this resuming filly from the Maher/Eustace camp. Impressive winning her first three starts she was then 1100-1400m when tackling the Group 1 J J Atkins in the winter where it was no surprise to see her peak late. Resuming here off two good lead up trials she’s three from three on soft/heavy going. RACE 6 No.3 Wu Gok There’s not many better bog trackers going around than this one who is 8 from 13 on heavy surfaces. Wouldn’t have a bar of him in this race on a dry deck however with that not possible he really does come into the race strongly. Unplaced all 4 starts since a break he can turn that around sharply with conditions to suit. RACE 7 No.1 Gytrash One of the highlights of the day is the million dollar Yes Yes Yes Stakes. This high quality sprinter does look well placed under the conditions of the race with only 58.5kg following his placing in The Everest a fortnight back. There’s no Classique Legend’s or Bivouac’s going around in tomorrow’s race and I would expect to see him closer in the run after missing the kick enough to matter last time. He can bounce back here.
