RACE 1 No.5 Our Mantra

Absolute model of consistency this stayer from the Anderson/Heathcote yard with his past 5 starts resulting in 4 wins and a second. He really looked the goods here last Saturday when charging to the post and although ‘officially’ up in grade tomorrow he’s going better than any of his rivals and drops plenty in weight. Mapping handy to the speed there’s no reason he can’t win again.

RACE 8 No.10 Magnufighter

Really liked his closing effort here two starts back over 1350 running on into 3rd in an unsuitably run race over 1350m. He backed up 7 days later at Eagle Farm over a mile and probably just reached the front too soon when run down by Silvera. They meet again tomorrow however with a 2.5kg swing at the weights and back to Doomben he can turn the tables.

RACE 9 No.7 Impasse

Chris Waller trained galloper who resumes from a break tomorrow. His recent trial victory over Smug Satisfaction suggests he is forward enough to figure in the finish at better than each-way odds. He’s been placed both first up outings to date and draws a lovely gate for in form jockey Robbie Fradd. Just looking for a little market/stable support and should it come he’s well worth supporting.
