Chris Nelson’s Rosehill Best Bets Posted on August 9, 2019 | Posted by Chris Nelson Chris Nelson’s Best Bets RACE 2 No.5 Haut Brion Her Not sure how short this promising Zoustar mare will start however she does look in the ‘good thing’ category. Dominant first up that was again the case at her second start back when charging away from the highly rated Sir Elton at Randwick three weeks back. With less weight on her back tomorrow she’ll sit up on the speed once again and prove very tough to beat. RACE 3 No.4 Black Wand Looks set to bring up another victory tomorrow looking very well placed in the Highway. Beat all bar the winner in exactly the same grade here at his previous start where he was coming off a 4 week gap between starts. With only 2 weeks this time around he should appreciate the step to 1800m and will get the right run from an inside draw for Sam Clipperton. RACE 7 No.6 Costello David Payne trained gelding who is at his best on firm ground which is likely to be the case tomorrow. Bred to get out over a trip he certainly appreciated 1800m second up running on strongly to beat all bar the winner. Up to the 2000m tomorrow from a good gate he’ll likely settle a little closer and prove tough to hold out. Quaddie 4, 7, 8 6, 9, 11 1, 2, 3 2, 5 Market Market
