RACE 3 No.2 Champagne Jet

Keen on her last Saturday expecting she either led or box seated however when showing no urgency from the gate she ended up worse than midfield on the rail which basically gave her very little chance of winning. To her credit though she did find the line strongly enough to suggest she’ll handle 1350m tomorrow even with the bigger weight.  If they serve up each-way odds she’s worth another try.

RACE 7 No.8 Intrinsic

Consistent galloper who closed out strongly in the Ramornie at Grafton coming from well back in the field on the home turn to be beaten just over half a length into 4th spot. Prior two starts were also in Listed company when again not far away. She goes around tomorrow in a Class 3 and under the plate conditions of the race appears extremely well in with 57kg.

RACE 9 No.9 The Avenger

Chris Waller trained galloper who appears all set to break through tomorrow. A model of consistency of late without winning he draws the pole position in gate one which will likely have him closer in the run than at his previous few starts & all set to strike in the straight. His effort at Eagle Farm last start was a good one running on from last after drawing poorly.
