Chris Nelson’s Randwick Best Bets Posted on August 2, 2019August 2, 2019 | Posted by Chris Nelson Chris Nelson’s Best Bets RACE 3 No.4 Pelethronius We’re faced with a certain heavy surface at Randwick tomorrow which is going to suit this one down to the ground. He’s raced on the going 7 times to date resulting in 5 wins with the latest being two back at Warwick Farm on a heavy (10) rated track. He backed that up with a solid victory here soon after and can bring up the hat trick tomorrow. RACE 8 No.7 Cyber Intervention Placed both starts this prep looks all set to break through tomorrow. Like the fact he rises from the 1300 and 1500m runs this prep to a more suitable 1800m as he did wind up his last campaign with a win against the odds (struck interference) over 2000m. He’s placed both starts on heavy going and looks one of the better bets of the afternoon. Race 9 No.11 The Party Girl Consistent mare who finished close up on heavy ground at Warwick Farm two back before just being held up long enough to matter before finishing off solidly late to beat all bar the winner. Down slightly in the weights tomorrow with Kerrin McEvoy to steer from an inside gate appears good each-way value.
