Scott’s Saturday Ascot Preview Posted on January 25, 2018 | Posted by Scott Embry Scott Embry’s Preview Race 1 REBOW picks himself off his excellent WA debut. Should be leading and winning this moderate maiden. JERAFT was solid enough on debut. STREAK AWAY puts herself in a nice position. MARTAHLIA will break through eventually. Numbers 4 – 6 – 11 – 10 Suggested Bet –REBOW WIN Race 2 KISS THE BREEZE could well be the best two year old we have seen so far. If she gets clear from the gate she should salute. STARES ANDWHISPERS only chance of beating the favourite is to lead and roll. MOUTH KARATE was strong on debut. CLASSIC PRO comes from a yard that can produce a juvenile at odds. Numbers: 5 – 14 – 6 – 9 Suggested Bet – KISS THE BREEZE WIN Race 3 EPIC GREY should be able to find the three wide train in a race with an abundance of natural speed. DYNAMITE DREAM should get every chance from the inside alley. SUPREME FORCE has trialed exceptionally well for his debut. LADY LE JEAN has been relatively luckless in her short career. Numbers 1 – 5 – 8 – 10 Suggested Bet – EPIC GREY WIN Race 4 VEUVE DE VEGA gave a strong kick last week and back in grade can give loads of cheek. ROYAL COMMAND should get conditions to suit and comes from a strong form reference. PERSIAN PRINCESS will be hitting the line hard. STORM DANCER next best off the quick back-up. Numbers: 3 – 2 – 5 – 6 Suggested Bet – VEUVE DE VEGA EACHWAY Race 5 DJANGO was completely unsuited at Pinjarra in the Mandurah Cup. He should be winding up three wide and this is his most suitable race this preparation. ZUCCHEROS was very good in the Miss Andretti. WRINKLY leads and rolls. Only concern is the breeze he punches into. CLASSICAL PRINCE should get every favour along the fence. Numbers: 2 – 1 – 4 – 7 Suggested Bet – DJANGO EACHWAY Race 6 PUSH TO PASS is ultra consistent once he hits form and this is winnable for him. ROMELO goes a lot better fresh than his numerical form suggests. TAXADERMY should stride forward and take up a prominent position. JUICING CARROTS is well placed freshened up from a gallant effort in the Cup. Numbers: 1 – 10 – 5 – 6 Suggested Bet – PUSH TO PASS EACHWAY Race 7 DUTCH SPY goes well fresh and only seems to go for Glenn Smith. Tracking up three deep with cover in a fast run race suits him perfectly. MANTIME is knocking on the door and will win one soon. VANDEMONIAN was luckless fresh and the stable is hot. SNOW LORD can run a cheeky race on a postage stamp weight from a soft gate. Numbers: 3 – 4 – 7 – 6 Suggested Bet – DUTCH SPY WIN SuperPick - Race 7 No. 3 DUTCH SPY - Money Back Race 8 SWEET ORA looks like she has been building towards a race like this all campaign and gets track conditions to suit. GEE BOSS is the logical selection after finding peak hour traffic at Pinjarra last start. Rises sharply in weight and there are a few other speedy types engaged. MORE ACES a sharp improver drawn the inside gate. TOP OF THE CLASS was far better than reads last start. Numbers: 8 – 5 – 2 – 12 Suggested Bet – SWEET ORA EACHWAY Quaddie (Races 5 – 8) 1,2,3,4,6,7 1,5,6,9,10 2,3,4,6,7,12 5,8 Bet Now
