MANDURAH

Race 5 No. 3 Dash Of Reyne

Good effort last time behind Aston Casino. Gets a fair draw here with a good map. No pace directly outside her, she can be the first behind the red and has good strength late. EW play.

Race 6 No. 8 Paddy Whack

No dog is racing more consistently than this bloke. Well drawn, he will muster down the outside and really shouldn’t miss a place from here. Made up a stack of ground again behind Rebellion Bay last week and only has to reproduce to hit the podium. Place heavy bird.

Race 8 No. 3 Incredible Hulk and No. 7 Citizen Cyril

The Hulkster looks set to salute here. A dog we have followed since day 1, he is really starting to hit his best work now and can win this with a clear run. Has a big last section and is not giving away so much start these days. The 7 can surprise here. He will show some dash out wide and is hard to catch when he leads. Worth a saver. Main play 3.

Race 9 No. 4 Oysters and No. 5 Overbite

2 dog race for mine. The 4 should show her usual box speed and it will simply be a matter of how far the 5 gets back. They both run similar time but in very different fashion. Small field favours the 5 but the 4 can get away here.

Race 10 No. 8 Winter Wizard

If this was at Cannington, he would be a special. He can still salute however and the box will assist him in doing that. Completely bungled the start last week and made tremendous ground. He can sweep around here and will look ominous with a clear passage.

GAWLER

Race 5 No. 2 Crown Sally and No. 3 Wooden Tiger

These two are drawn to get the gun map here. The 1,4,5 will go fast and these two just slot in behind. Both have good middle and last fractions and will be far too strong with a trouble free run. 2 goes well here and enjoys the track and trip while the 3 is still capable of his old form. Back both EW.

Race 6 No. 3 Blue Chandelier and No. 1 That’s a Problem

The 3 is overs here and she can accelerate very quickly after box rise. Good record here and showed last start she is racing as well as ever. Will run low to sub 23 on the arm. The 1 gets the pipe smoking run along the rails here. He’s hot and cold but if he gets interested early enough, can unleash a sustained run home.

Race 10 No. 4 Ros’s Sapphire

She needs to get the start right. If she does, she becomes the one to beat. Can be very hard to get past when leading and has a great record over this track and trip. Don’t underestimate.

Race 11 No. 2 Prince Conner and No. 10 Tahoe

The 2 is a silly price here. While he does not win many, he can figure in a race like this and this field is easier than he has been facing. The 10 seems to save her best work for Gawler now and when she steps, she’s a contender. Goes into box 4 which won’t be too bad with what’s around her. Both good EW shows to round out.
