Albany Thoroughbreds – 3 March Posted on March 1, 2016 | Posted by Greg Hooper Greg Hooper’s Tips RACE 3 NO. 9 VOLKSOAN VOLKSOAN showed enough on debut to suggest she is a mare who will win some races. On that occasion she started from wide gate, was no closer than four wide in running and was still there until the final 100m. Brad Parnham goes on and he has drawn to get a much softer trip in running. She looks a solid each-way gamble. RACE 4 NO. 4 RUN LIAM RUN RUN LIAM RUN is a local star and he looks tough to beat in his return run from a spell. Last campaign he smashed his rivals first-up at this track and over this distance before having excuses in town on a Saturday card. He’ll settle behind a hot speed and will hopefully gobble these up late. RACE 8 NO. 6 VICTOBOUGG VICTOBOUGG should improve sharply on his first-up run at Bunbury where he wasn’t suited over 1200m. The step up to a mile is ideal and he is 2 from 3 at this track. In an open race he appeals each-way. RACE 5 – 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 RACE 6 – 2, 6, 7 RACE 7 – 1, 3, 5, 10, 11 RACE 8 – 1, 3, 4, 6, 7 Bet Now
