Warren Huntly’s Wednesday Sandown Preview Posted on December 5, 2023December 5, 2023 | Posted by Warren Huntly Race 1 SHE’S BULLETPROOF chased well behind an all the way winner on debut and looks hard to beat. JAKIVY comes through a strong form race, he may need a touch of luck from the draw but gets winkers on. MINTMAN also chased well on debut and looks suited stepping up to 1200m. MOTOMAN was no match for the winner on debut but was well backed and should appreciate the extra 100m. DEPTH CHARGE will be at peak fitness and maps well. ITZA MOTZA had excuses first up and his previous form was strong. ACID WASH has jumped out quite well. Selections: 12,5,7,8 Suggested Bet: She’s Bulletproof to win Race 2 MILITARY AWARD ran well at tis trip second up and may settle better with that run under his belt. SUPERIOR ZARA was out of play at the start last time and under the circumstances there was plenty of merit in her run. With a clean get away she can settle much closer. RED MILE worked home ok on debut in the same race as Military Award. DREAM REALITY has jumped out well between runs. JUSTABOOM has shown talent at the jumpouts. Selections: 4,14,6,10 Suggested Bet: Military Award each way Race 3 GLENTANEOUS should be at his top and looks hard to beat dropping in grade and rising in trip. SPERAZOSO backs up from good run last week and gives the impression 2400m will be ok. PERLE BLEUE is racing through the grades in good style and can take advantage of the inside draw. SEA SPEEDWELL bounced back from a poor run at Moonee Valley to win last start. Selections: 3,7,5,4 Suggested Bet: Glentaneous to win Race 4 PLENTY OF AMMO has returned in terrific form and her win last start was that of a horse destined for much better races. DANCINGINTHEDARK had no luck last start and gets blinkers on. TOP HONOURS is fit and racing well. WANDA’S OUTLAW may need some luck from the inside draw but will be strong late. Selections: 5,11,1,9 Suggested Bet: Plenty of Ammo to win Race 5 LANG PARK is building a handy record and has trialled well to resume. TANGO JEWEL will strip fitter for an encouraging return and has the early speed to offset the wide gate. VALOIS is shaping as through this trip will suit. VILLA SEVENTYNINE will be charging late. INTREPID EAGLE and RYLOV have been jumping out well to resume. Selections: 1,15,10,3 Suggested Bet: Lang Park each way Race 6 ZOUPURRING will make his own luck and the form through his latest run has held up well. CALL HIM IGGY impressed winning on debut but has the wide draw to contend with. THUNDER AWARD also won well on debut and should appreciate 1400m. CRADLE OF LIFE resumes gelded and has been jumping out well without being fully tested. SPIRIT BEAST has trialled well to kick off at a suitable trip. Selections: 5,1,10,8 Suggested Bet: Zoupurring each way Race 7 Competitive race. WHO DARES will be close to his top and looks set for a good run on the speed. HE’S HANDSOME is racing in great form and didn’t have the best of luck when beaten by a promising galloper last start. ROYAL HARD HAD is a previous first up winner and has jumped out well to resume. LAUDING is a query runner. He drawn awkwardly but his NZ form reads well and he’s jumped out in great style for the new stable. Selections: 16,7,5,14 Suggested Bet: Including 16,7,5 & 14 in quaddie Race 8 Tough finish. BELMIA has had her barrier issues but seems to be improving and won well last time. MAWKEB has trialled well to resume. FRENCHMANS BAY will need some luck from the draw but has returned in great form. RUNNING ON TIME was competitive at stakes level last campaign and will strip fitter second up. BAVARIAN LADY has jumped out well and maps for a soft run. Selections: 6,8,2,9 Suggested Bet: Belmia each way Market Market
