Race 1

Bit of guess work goes in to the on top selection here. THE KHUKRI (9) was racing in good form before heading for a break and returns here and may need the run but looks well suited in this grade and should be threatening. JACK CARROWACK (1) has improved nicely in trials and has the nice draw; with further improvement he looks a major player. DOCTOR ROCK (8) is racing soundly and must be respected with GAMETIME (7) who is fitter for the first up effort and other novelty chances to ALTAR (5)

Suggested Bet: THE KHUKRI (9) each way.

Race 2

SHECANPLAY (5) has good form lines to work off in her return run, has good early speed and looks a major player in this suitable race. JORDANO (3) had no luck last time out and looks better suited and situated to run a bold race. CHEVRONS GOLD (1) is holding decent consistency and shouldn’t be too far away. IDONTWANABEAPIRATE (6) was a solid winner last time out and may have to do the work again. SLEEK AND SWEET (9) will be running home well and JACK MANNIX (2) is capable but has a bag of tricks making him hard to catch.

Suggested Bet: SHECANPLAY (5) to win.

Race 3

ZLATO (2) has come back well and looks a major player here from the draw, did the work last time out and appears hard to beat. CULLEN STAR (4) is capable and should race forward and be close enough to the speed. STELLA MAJOR (3) will get a good run and will be running on with SNAKEY BAY (9) who won well last time out. ON THE BACK FOOT (10) may have traffic issues but is suited to this grade and is ready to win. GOV STARZZZ (1) a place hope from the draw and RONA MAY (7) could improve from the better draw and being third up into the preparation.

Suggested Bet: ZLATO (2) to win.

Race 4

PINNY NOIR (6) drops in grade and finds a suitable race, seems to be back and firing and ready to go close in this, has the speed to potentially charge across and lead and at the trip he will be hard to beat. ULTIMATE ZIPPER (1) has the draw and a good test for him, will settle close to the speed and go well. WICKED LOVER (4) faces an interesting test on return, has always shown ability but has had her tricks. MORE THAN HONOURED (9) faces a tricky draw but will be running home strongly and must be respected.

Tips: 6 1 9 4

Suggested Bet: PINNY NOIR (6) to win.

Race 5

MYSTA MOON WALKER (1) dug deep for victory last time out which isn’t exactly what he is most known for, that builds a lot of confidence into this race from the good draw, should lead and be very hard to run down. MYDADTHETERROR (7) is ideally drawn and has been running on from tricky positions in the run recently and looks a solid contender from the draw. CONTROL THE ROOM (10) is second up and should have benefitted from the run on Tuesday, he is capable. INTO THE FUTURE (2) is ready to win just needs a touch of luck and could be shuffled in this. HUNT THE MAGIC (8) is fitter and could improve.

Suggested Bet: MYSTA MOON WALKER (1) to win.

Race 6

Open race. BRONZED (12) returns and trialled nicely, looks a strong type and has come back looking strong and can win on return but would like a bit of added value from the handicap. I SEE FIRE (2) is ready to win a race, he is a bit of a tricky horse to follow early but hits the line strongly, distance can suit him. OUR MAJOR JACK (6) has come back well and can feature just needs some luck. LADY CAMEL (9), YA BETTOR FOLLOWME (10) both winning chances with novelty chances to BARBADOS (4), SMOKEYS SHADOW (5), GOLD HORSESHOE (7) and KINSAABI (8).

Tips: 12 2 10 6

Suggested Bet: I SEE FIRE (2) each way.

Race 7

PARAGLIDER (6) looks a multi builder and should prove too strong for his rivals here, he has been racing some talented types and appears very hard to beat in this. WESSY KID (1) can come out and hold up early and get the cover and be a good place chance. SHOOBETCHA (8) has had more than a few opportunities and can run into the money but races better on speed. ROCKNROLL LIBERTY (9) will be driven for one run and will be running on. KUNGFU WARRIOR (4) is a novelty chance.

Tips: 6 1 9 8

Suggested Bet: WESSY KID (1) to place.

Race 8

SHEZABECA (5) has been very impressive against stronger opposition in recent runs and realistically should just step out and win, only concern is she has been chasing good ones and whether she can put a field away herself but that’s nit picking if you’re taking the short odds, should win. LIANAKA (2) can improve in this and looks well placed to improve off recent runs against tougher. TORREVEAN ENVY ME (9) will be running on strongly with SHOOBEES BOMB (6) who has novelty claims in this event.

Suggested Bet: TORREVEAN ENVY ME (9) to place.
