Race 1

Not a lot would surprise with these lightly raced gallopers. CHILLED won well first up with the second horse winning a stakes race impressively at her next start. ROVNO AMBER has been jumping out impressively for his home track debut. LONG LOST FRIEND won well on debut and 1200m should be no problem. CLAYMORE MINE is another to jump out well for the debut. NEUTRALISM didn’t have much luck on debut and has jumped out ok to resume.

Race 2

SOARING EAGLE may not have been advantaged by leading last time and should be able to settle in a stalking role. WARM SMILE should be close to peak fitness now and chased strongly last start. DEFIANT DIVA had her chance last start but is fit and racing well. FLASH MARY stuck to her task well at her first Australian start in the same race as Defiant Diva. PERFECT WORLD should appreciate 1600m second up.

Race 3

FASUTO should be suited by a solid tempo and if he gets the breaks form the inside draw should be fighting out the finish. RANVEER resumes from a long break as a gelding and has been trialling well. SQUAD looks part of the speed, he’s fit and in form. TAX FREE PROPHET will likely miss the start but will be charging home. OKAY TO PAY backs up after a tough on speed win last week.

Race 4

CONVENER had no luck at his first Australian start, he looks well placed rising in trip in a race that should be truly run. CLAIHEAMH MOR will be part of the speed and has some admirable fighting qualities. GOLDEN CRUSADER has impressed riding the speed at his last two wins and looks capable of measuring up to this slightly stronger company. AZALY and TOBAYSURE have claims.

Race 5

OUR REDENTE is building a good record and has jumped out well to resume. DO YA PUNK had no luck first up and although he handles wet ground well, he’s still effective on firmer tracks. SEBONACK hasn’t had much go right of late and was on the wrong side of the track at his latest run. MISS MIDDLE PARK is fit and flying. HELLO BROADCAST ran into dead ends last start, with any luck from the inside draw he can figure.

Race 6

WALTZ ON BY won the Bendigo Guineas in good style and can be forgiven her only try at 1600m in the 1000 Guineas. DASHING continues to race well and his spring form was solid. ELKINGTON ROAD chased strongly behind Waltz on By at Bendigo and should appreciate getting back out to 1600m. LETHAL THOUGHTS also come through the Bendigo Guineas and will strip fitter third up.

Race 7

If JIGSAW has come through his tough run in the William Reid ok then he looks the one to beat, his previous runs were of a sustained high standard. CURRAN will settle off the speed but will be storming home in trademark style. SHE’S ALL CLASS had the race shape to suit last time and will strip fitter second up. NOT AN OPTION comes back to 1200m but will be strong late and will appreciate firmer ground than last start.

Race 8

VOW AND DECLARE is a quality stayer racing in good form, he’s dropping back from Group 1 WFA company and should be suited by what appears to be a solid tempo. HEZASHOCKA also drops back from Group 1 company and gives the impression he will run 2400m. NONCONFORMIST covered ground but had cover in the Australian Cup, he’s jumped out nicely between runs. RIGHT YOU ARE now faces the test of 2400m but it’s impossible to knock his form. SWORDS DRAWN and FANCY MAN have claims.

Race 9

MAKTOOB has impressed at his two runs for the Zahra stable and seem to being kept around this trip at this stage of his career. TYPHOON HARMONY could be a big improver backing up on firmer ground, his first up run was encouraging. MARACANA looks well placed getting out to 1600m third up with a claim. IT’S TORANDO STORM will need some luck from the draw but is going well. RECKONING comes beat home It’s Tornado Storm, front bar plates going on is some concern but he should be close to peak fitness now and is in good form.
