Trent Cooper’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on September 5, 2019September 5, 2019 | Posted by Trent Cooper Trent Cooper’s Preview Race 1 HIT IT RICH (5) has resumed from a two-year absence in good form and was impressive in running on from midfield to defeat a strong field at Pinjarra last start. Warwick has elected to drive her over the stablemate and she looks the one to beat. SHE COULD BE GOOD (4) wasn’t suited facing the breeze at her last start but is racing well and looks the main danger. WHITBYS GAMBLE (2) has improved of late and is ready for the rise in class. DELIGHTFULREACTION (9) is racing well but has a horror draw to overcome. Tips: 5 4 3 9 Suggested Bet: HIT IT RICH (5) to win. Race 2 THE TRILOGY (1) overcame a 30m handicap to run a great 2nd to Eloquent Mach at his last start. He looks the leader tonight and should prove very hard to catch. VINCENZO PERUGGIA (7) has been racing in better company and was only 4m from Handsandwheels when 2nd to that pacer in 1.53.7 two starts back. BOB WHEEL (6) was a strong 3rd from the breeze here last week and shouldn’t be far away again. BAD ROUND (10) is drawn to get a lovely run on the pegs and looks a good place chance. Tips: 1 7 6 10 Suggested Bet: THE TRILOGY (1) to win. Race 3 WAIMAC ATTACK (1) has faced the breeze at his last three starts for one win and two placings. He looks the leader tonight and should give a great sight. MAJOR POCKET (2) ran four consecutive 2nds before being unable to get into the race last week. He is well drawn here and should be a major player. CRYSTAL SPARKLES (10) is in peak form with two wins and a 2nd from her last three starts and is drawn to get a lovely run in transit. SON OF A TIGER (9) has impressed in winning two of his last three starts but has a tough draw tonight. Tips: 1 2 10 9 Suggested Bet: WAIMAC ATTACK (1) to win. Race 4 EXTREME PRINCE (1) has been unplaced at both starts this time in but has had excuses on both occasions. He will attempt to hold the lead here and will give a great sight. LIGHTNING JOLT (2) has been placed at four of his five starts since resuming from a spell and is capable of breaking through in a race of this nature. THE DALI EXPRESS (10) has shown ability in standing start events and should get a nice run in transit. PRADAS IDEAL DAHLING (5) has an awkward draw again but has the ability to win with the right run. Tips: 1 2 10 5 Suggested Bet: EXTREME PRINCE (1) to win. Race 5 OUR CORELLI (1) went to a new level last start when leading throughout in 1.52.7. He goes up to the middle distance tonight but is clearly the one to beat on last week’s performance. VAMPIRO (4) did defeat OUR CORELLI (1) two starts back and will run a big race from this draw. HANDSANDWHEELS (7) won three on end before his last start defeat but will be better suited by the longer journey tonight. KING OF SWING (3) normally only wins when he leads but should still play a part from his nice draw. Tips: 1 4 7 3 Suggested Bet: OUR CORELLI (1) to win. Race 6 HOT FRATERNITY (4) ran on fairly when. 6th here last week after starting from a wide barrier. He now has three runs under his belt and should be ready to show his best tonight. BELTANE (6) has two wins and three placings from his last five starts and should be right in the finish again. PIERRE WHITBY (8) is racing extremely consistently and would be the one to beat if not for the wide draw. CHANGE OF ADDRESS (1) was a solid 3rd after breezing at his last start and must be considered from the pole. Tips: 4 6 8 1 Suggested Bet: HOT FRATERNITY (4) to win. Race 7 ATMOSPHERICAL (5) was a slashing first-up 2nd to Eloquent Mach before two sound efforts in stands. This field isn’t overly strong and he will be hard to beat if he can reproduce his first-up run. ALWAYS ON (4) is a last start Mildura winner who must be respected at his WA debut. BEE SEVENTEEN (1) trailed Son Of A Tiger when 2nd to that pacer last week and should give a sight over the sprint trip. JOE WITH THE FLOW (7) must be considered on his 2nd to Son Of A Tiger from a wide draw two starts back. Tips: 5 4 1 7 Suggested Bet: ATMOSPHERICAL (5) to win. Race 8 MICHAEL JOSEPH (4) finished a close 2nd to Roman Aviator in 1.55.8 two starts back before getting caught in the breeze here last week. He should enjoy a nice run just off the pace tonight and will be charging home. FOUR STARZZZ FORSA (2) hasn’t had much luck since recording consecutive victories in July and looks a major player from this draw. SALEAHS COMMAND (3) led when 2nd here recently in 1.55.2 and can play a part from this draw. TWENTYNINE TWELVE (1) isn’t at his top but can improve from the pole. Tips: 4 2 3 1 Suggested Bet: MICHAEL JOSEPH (4) to win. Race 9 MAD ROBBER (1) led throughout to defeat a similar field here last week. He should have little trouble holding the front and will be very hard to beat again. EL HOMBRE (2) raced in stronger company when 3rd in 1.52.7 last week. He should enjoy a lovely run on the leader’s back and looks the obvious danger. CARTER MICHEAL (7) has been placed at his last six starts but this draw makes his task difficult. COURAGE TELLS (3) can be placed from his nice barrier. Tips: 1 2 7 3 Suggested Bet: Quinella MAD ROBBER (1) & EL HOMBRE (2). Race 10 SPUD (6) has his first state in WA after a solid career on the eastern seaboard. He has been racing in stronger company and should prove hard to beat here. TON TINE (9) sprinted strongly to win at Pinjarra on Monday and should be finishing hard tonight. LIFES DELIGHT (5) won three of his last five starts before a spell and should play a part if he is ready first-up. HAMMERS LAW (1) won his last start before a break and has warmed up for this with a recent Northam trial win. Tips: 6 9 5 1 Suggested Bet: SPUD (6) to win. Market Market
