Race 1

ALDEBARAN BOYD (6) returns and has proven to be a top end trotter last time in, will be looking to keep the advantage and will be hard to beat. MYSTERY FRED (7) will appreciate the smaller field and can try and gather them in late, has a lot of high speed. BEE BEE BEROC (1) on the quick backup and looks a chance to potentially lead with SKY EAGLE (2) also on the quick backup and is talented enough to be around the money. SELLUNE (3) is a novelty chance, and MY LIGHTNING MCQUEEN (5) looks to improve off the first up effort. LUVAFLAIR (8) faces a difficult handicap.

Race 2

SUGA (2) had to work hard in a quick lead time in her last run, looks better suited here and a strong chance to work to the top and be very hard to beat. AMERICAN FALCON (8) has ability but has been a bit mixed with form lately and looks to improve, expected to run well. LADY MERMAID (1) returns and is under the care of Michael Munro, has options from the draw but looks a decent novelty chance in this on prior form. ALL AT ONCE (4) is a novelty chance and drawn to be close enough with INTHEHEARTOFTEXAS (5) likely to run home strongly, looks a nice type. MA PETITE DAME (7) needs some luck but is capable.

Suggested Bet: SUGA (2) to win.

Race 3

Good competitive race here. MAGIC PLAYA (3) returns and has the draw advantage, will look to try and work to the top and show his best. UMBERTO (4) made a mid race move and detracted from his finish late but looks to be smart and will run a good race. COASTAL WAVE (5) impressed in a recent trial, tricky draw but has a lot of high speed and should run a big race. JIMMYS RAINBOW (6) has some early speed and may roll the dice early, two of his last three have been strong. VALENTINO (7) faces a difficult draw but can overcome, map looks a bit awkward but will be running on. THE BELL HUEY (8) and WHATHITSTHEEYE (11) are novelty chances.

Suggested Bet: COASTAL WAVE (5) each way.

Race 4

FILLMYPOCKET (9) has come back well, interrupted from first run to second run, think this class looks suitable and can carry that form on and be hard to hold out in this. ELIVRA JANE (2) has the speed to look for the top, distance suits and could be around the mark. ASHBY (1) was better last run, distance suits and draw is ideal and looks a novelty chance. OURFIRSTIMPRESSION (4) was a bold effort after being three wide the trip last start, keep safe. PHILTHEJUG (10) is a novelty chance from the draw.

Tips: 9 2 4 1

Suggested Bet: FILLMYPOCKET (9) to win.

Race 5 (Best Bet)

ULTIMATE EVENT (5) returns and has good early speed, looks a strong chance to find the front and from that position will be hard to beat. ESSENCE OF ROYALTY (9) is second up and has good ability, draw is challenging but expecting a sharp improvement on the last run to this. VYBRANT (12) will be running on with BONPOPPY (11) who has elevated recently. MONEY WELL SPENT (8) is a novelty chance but the draw hurts and FUEGO CRUZADO (6) needs luck but is racing well enough.

Tips: 5 9 12 11

Suggested Bet: ULTIMATE EVENT (5) to win.

Race 6

Open race. GOGGINS (2) hit the line strongly last time out and from the draw has a few options, will be around the action. MORE THAN HONOURED (1) has the good draw and has been on the improve recently, keep safe in this. ROCKABILITY (12) is a better on speed but will be running on strongly from the draw. MARBEECHSAM (3) returns and has ability, may need the run but drawn to be close enough. LETS RATTLNROLL (5) faces a tricky draw, and the form has been sound. IN MY OWN TIME (8) racing well and has some early speed, draw is challenging but may look to go forward. ITSOKTOBEGREY (9) was disappointing last run, but prior form had been solid.

Suggested Bet: GOGGINS (2) each way.

Race 7

GULLY GUM (1) well placed with the good draw to show his best, bold front running type and looks to be able to get that opportunity here. BETTOR CLASS (10) was something beaten last start in his return run, beautiful draw and will be hard to hold out if he gets into the clear. JIMMY ROCKS (5) performed well from the breeze last time out, looks set to be in that position again and sticking on well. SOUND WAVE (11) had no luck last time out and will lurk around the novelties with AKOYA PEARL (6), INFINITE MERIT (7) and ROLLINDOWNTHERIVER (4) who returns.

Tips: 10 1 5 11

Suggested Bet: BETTOR CLASS (10) each way

Race 8

TEXAS BANNER (8) looks suited here, has plenty of early speed and is likely to race up on pace and be hard to hold out late, fought on strongly in a quick mile rate last start. PATRIARCH (5) returns and has plenty of ability, can mix his form a touch but trial was solid enough. CEASE TO REACT (1) has the nice draw and can improve from that spot. KATAMA (4) will settle close enough and is capable and CINCH (7) will be running on strongly.

Tips: 8 5 1 4

Suggested Bet: TEXAS BANNER (8) to win.

Race 9

MUFFIN LOSE (3) is knocking on the door and has the draw advantage, looks the likely leader in this and they’ve called upon the master Chris Lewis to get him across the line. STELLAR MAN (4) is on the improve and looks to be a horse with ability, still learning the caper and will be threatening. PARAGLIDER (7) draws tricky but returned well and the small field suits to see him closing on well. MISS TRIBECA (5) could be an improver and run into the money and STORYBOOK HERO (6) is a novelty chance.
