Race 1

IM EDDIE (4) reads up well for this WA debut, gets in well on the handicaps and expected to be a major threat in this. LAVRADORE (3) won well last time out and has been more consistent than not this time in, looks to step safely and be in a prominent position. SKY EAGLE (7) can step quickly and get past a few early and set himself up to run into the money. LOTS OF CHANGE (8) is a consistent performer and will be around the mark. JUSTLIKEFLAIR (5) is capable but needs to do everything right therefore is a risky follow currently, BEE BEE BEROC (9) faces traffic issues but is racing well and SELLUNE (10) and TILTHESUNSETS (1) are novelty chances on recent form.

Suggested Bet: SKY EAGLE (7) each way.

Race 2

IDEAL AN ACE (9) has drawn to get a good run through early and can make some decisions after the start, looks a suitable race for him and his form has been sound from tricky maps recently, expecting a bold performance. METHUSELAH (10) hit the line well in his most recent run and will be driven in a similar manner and be running on again. BEAU TOULOUSE (1) has the speed to lead and make decisions from there, should be close enough. WAY OF THE WORLD (2) trialled up soundly and is worthy of respect with STRONG THE STRIKER (3) who is racing in consistent fashion. IDEAL DIAMOND (7) had no luck last time out, will require some from the draw but will be running on. SIZZLE ORO (5) and SOME LINE (6) novelty chances at odds.

Suggested Bet: IDEAL AN ACE (9) to win.

Race 3

BELIEVE IN BETTOR (5) comes in fresh but has the draw advantage and will be driven forward and looks a solid chance to find the top and be very hard to run down. BROOME BEACH (11) will be saved up for one run and be powering home, he is ready to win but will need a genuine tempo. HIGHVIEW ROZI (4) can use the advantage to race on speed, horse is racing in consistent fashion. PROFIT SHARE (7) faces a challenging draw and may have to do the work again. WHERES MY HALO (1) is a novelty chance based off the last run, but the early speed is a concern and HUDSON STREET (9) and TODOROSKI (10) are novelty chances.

Suggested Bet: BELIEVE IN BETTOR (5) to win.

Race 4

AUTUMN LADY (7) is racing well and has a lot of high speed; she will need that from the wide draw but keep circling back to her in this. RECOVER LOVER (9) will punch through and be handy and loves this distance, ICY COLD (10) will be running on also, form is much better at this trip. BETTERTHAN SECRET (1) had no luck in her most recent lightning lap, if she can hold up she will run well but has options. YOU FLY WITH ME (2) can run a big race if he could lead, will be coming out hard. DAT LOVELY (8) drawn to get a soft run and AMERICAN MONARCH (3) and SYNCHRONIZER (6) need luck from their draws.

Suggested Bet: AUTUMN LADY (7) to win.

Race 5

A LITTLE SILENCE (7) was solid on return and should bounce off that well, he will be very hard to beat if he could find the top but there is some speed underneath. SKYLORD (10) had a bump with that horse last time out and proved costly to him being able to win, bigger track suits him and has the closing speed to overcome the draw. HILLVIEW BONDI (6) will be driven forward like always and looks a solid chance to try and keep the advantage and keep them rolling. IDEAL MUSCLE (1) capable of improvement from the draw, novelty chance with MAGIC CAPTAIN (3) and STARLIGHT DREAM (5) returns from a tricky draw, her high speed is her main asset.

Suggested Bet: SKYLORD (10) each way.

Race 6 (Best Bet)

STAPLETON (2) form doesn’t read up great but he’s back to the lightning lap and will be out in front and have them chasing, think he can return to the winners list in this race. VINTAGE BLU (9) was a good effort last run and should punch through hard in the early stages here and lob handy to them and finish the race off well. HARRYS A ROCKSTAR (1) has the draw to improve and looks a place chance. HOOAH (3) will be close enough to earn and looks a chance. Tricky draws for IL BANDITO (4) and CALL TO ARMS (5). GOTA GOOD WARHOL (10) will be running on and IDONTWANABEAPIRATE (8) is always a novelty chance.

Suggested Bet: STAPLETON (2) to win.

Race 7

ULTIMATE CULLECT (2) reads up well for this in her WA debut, has the good draw and has the speed, looks a strong chance to make it a winning start over here. DARE TO LIE (1) ideally drawn and is racing with good consistency, she is getting up in grade but looks a decent novelty chance from the draw. HIGHVIEW HEIDI (6) will roll forward and look to be handy, sound return and should bounce of that well. OAKLEY (8) drawn to get a soft run and is a consistent performer, good novelty chance. DUNKALLEDY (11) is capable but has mixed form since return, back row draw makes it challenging. SKIPPIN CLASS (9) is fitter and can be thrown into the novelties and HALFMOONBAY (12) will be running on.

Suggested Bet: OAKLEY (8) to place.

Race 8

SEASIDE POND (10) won well last week in the Don Randall Memorial, and this looks no harder, steps well, loves the stand and can get the victory in this. LORD TITANIUM (6) can jump and be a chance to get into the money, a slightly one paced type of horse. MAJOR FREEWAY (11) and TUBBS FARQUHAR (12) will both be running on, look novelty chances in this with FEELING ACES (1), THOMSON BAY (7) and ECLIPSE LINE (9).

Tips: 10 6 11 12

Suggested Bet: SEASIDE POND (10) to win.

Race 9

IT IS CRUNCH TIME (4) trialled up well and looks suited here, likely to be driven forward and look for the top and can make it a winning return. SOHO CONFIDENTIAL (6) was a decent effort last time out and will roll forward and race on speed, likely to stick on well. IM SPIDERMAN (2) returns fresh and has the speed to lead, capable when right. TOMMY PRICE (8) will need the gaps to appear but is racing well enough. MAD PUNTA (3) has put in some decent runs recently and ran on well from well back last week, looks to settle closer. MACH FREEWAY (1) is a novelty chance by virtue of the draw with other chances to ROCKSTAR QUALITY (9), ARUM (10) and SLIPALONG SAINT (11).
