The Scout: NFL Week 6

Miami Dolphins @ Jacksonville Jaguars

Both the Miami Dolphins (1-4) and Jacksonville Jaguars (0-5) are struggling and are in desperate need to get a victory. This is not the best showcase match to have played in London but it will feature two exciting young quarterbacks in Tua Tagovalioa and Trevor Lawrence.

The Dolphins have lost four straight but should welcome back Tua Tagovalio to their roster which is a huge boost. Miami has had a tough run and have lost to some elite competition and will welcome a weak opponent like the Jaguars.

Trevor Lawrence is a long way from becoming one of the best quarter backs in the league and unfortunately for the number one draft pick he simply does not have the weapons to pass to. The Jaguars offense is seriously undermanned and consistently fails to put up winning scores.

Miami is the better coached side with Brian Flores leading the way and he will be able to find more creative offensive plays to comfortably outscore the flailing Jaguars.

Suggested Bet: Dolphins -3.5 (Line) @ $1.91*

Green Bay Packers @ Chicago Bears

The Green Bay Packers (4-1) are on a roll and have rattled off four straight wins as they travel to the Chicago Bears (3-2) who have won back-to-back games.

This is a big game in determining who will win the NFC North as the Packers are only a game ahead of the Bears who will continue to snap at their heels. Green Bay will want to secure this crucial win as their second half of the season is an incredibly tough run of fixtures.

Justin Fields and the Bear’s passing offense has struggled which plays right into the hands of Green Bay. The Packers biggest weakness right now is their pass defense while Jaire Alexander is out, but they should not be troubled by Fields.

Green Bay’s offensive line will help Aaron Rodgers get the ball down the field quickly and his experience will allow him to exploit the shaky secondary spots of the Bears defense. The Packers are rolling with Davante Adams leading the way with over 579 receiving yards (#1 in the NFL). I think the Packers will have too many weapons and will once again beat their NFC rival.

Suggested Bet: Packers -4.5 (Line) @ $1.91*

Dallas Cowboys @ New England Patriots

The Dallas Cowboys are on a roll (4-1) as they look to get a 5th win in a row as they travel to the New England Patriots (1-4) who are yet to win a game at home.

Dak Prescott and the Cowboys offensive are unstoppable right now, they are a balanced well oiled machine that oozes versatility. They can transition seamlessly between a pass heavy strategy and a run heavy strategy and look explosive.

Patriots coach Bill Belichick is perhaps the best football mind in the game and will certainly have a scheme to limit the Dallas Cowboys however they have simply too many weapons that no one can stop them all. The biggest x factor that no team can scheme for is the mobility of Prescott and his ability to evade sacks and provide a run game if necessary.

The Cowboys have put up an average of 40 points across their last three games and the combination of Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott has them looking more and more like a Super Bowl candidate. The Patriots are vulnerable and do not have the defense to contain the arsenal that Prescott has at his disposal, I expect the Cowboys to put up another big scoreline and secure their 5th consecutive win.

Suggested Bet: Dallas -3.5 & Over 51.5 @ $3.40*
