The Scout: Friday NBA Best Bets

Milwaukee Bucks @ Atlanta Hawks

The Bucks (34-20) have split their last 10 games but have a stranglehold on third spot in the east, and appear to be cruising. Atlanta (30-25) on the other hand have won seven of their last eight and will be looking to continue that run here.

The Hawks are playing fast, up-tempo basketball and appear to have found their rhythm after some down periods throughout the season. Bogdan Bogdanovic has been the spark he was brought in to be, averaging 20 points across his last 10 games, and I think Atlanta offer great value to surprise a Bucks team with one eye already on the postseason.

Suggested Bet: Atlanta (Head to Head) @ $3.10*

Boston Celtics @ Los Angeles Lakers

The Celtics (29-26) have won four in a row while the Lakers (34-21) have been admirable without their star duo of LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

Boston’s form can be attributed to their core players finally getting on the court together, and reestablishing their rhythm. Jayson Tatum looks back to 100% health and is coming off games of 32, 28 and 53 points.

It’s difficult to predict this version of the Lakers game to game, but if Boston show up anywhere near their best, this game shouldn’t be close.

Suggested Bet: Boston 11+ (Margin) @ $2.75*

Sacramento Kings @ Phoenix Suns

The Kings (22-33) are a shambles having lost their last eight games (including a most recent double-digit loss to Washington) while the Suns (39-15) are white-hot, winning 10 of their last 11.

Deandre Ayton has had a nice year, flourishing alongside Chris Paul, averaging 15 points and 10 rebounds per game on the number two team in the west. The former number one pick has scored 18 or more points in four of his last five games and should really be looking to feast on a Kings’ frontcourt led by the undersized Richaun Holmes.

Suggested Bet: Deandre Ayton 20+ Points @ $2.42*
