The Scout: Champions League Semi-Finals Posted on May 3, 2022May 4, 2022 | Posted by The Scout Villareal vs Liverpool Villareal’s fairytale run is now looking quite grim as they host Liverpool in the second leg of this fixture, following a 2-0 loss at Anfield last week. The Reds were clinical in the first match, completely shutting out the Spanish side, preventing them from having a single shot on target. Liverpool’s defense is arguably the best in all of Europe, and is anchored by the world’s best centre back in Virgil Van Dijk. Defensive wingers Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold offer plenty defensively and in attack, making Liverpool the dominant force that they are. I see that dominance continuing here. Suggested Bet: Liverpool Win to Nil @ $3.25* Real Madrid vs Manchester City The first leg between these two juggernauts was a thriller with Manchester City snatching a 4-3 victory in one of the most exciting Champions League matches in recent memory. This result means that City cannot travel to the Bernabau and play conservative football. They will be looking to score and will likely attack from the opening whistle. Real Madrid come into this match in great form and will be full of confidence having lifted the Spanish League trophy last weekend. On top of this, their goal scoring talisman Karim Benzema is enjoying one of his best seasons, and is fresh off a brace in the opening leg. Suggested Bet: Over 3.5 Goals @ $2.35* *Odds correct as at 12pm, 3rd May 2022. Market Market
