The Scout: A-League Week 26 Posted on April 28, 2022April 28, 2022 | Posted by The Scout Central Coast Mariners vs Western United Central Coast (6th) are currently in contention for the A-League finals but are just one point ahead of 7th placed Macarthur FC. Western United sit in 2nd place and have won back-to-back matches over Macarthur FC and Perth Glory. The Mariners are coming into this match following a massive 4-2 win over Newcastle and a 4-0 thrashing of Wellington Phoenix. Western United are on another level to those opponents but confidence will still be high Suggested Bet: Over 3.5 goals @ $3* Adelaide United vs Brisbane Roar Adelaide United (4th) are building nicely towards the A-League Finals having won three straight, their latest a 2-0 win over Perth Glory. Brisbane Roar (11th) are out of finals contention and will welcome the end of the season, not finding a win in four matches. Carl Veart has this Adelaide United squad firing on all cylinders and they have quickly become one of the toughest sides in the entire league to beat. They have a very strong back four and are extremely hard to score against, on full display with their last two games resulting in clean sheets. Suggested Bet: Adelaide United to Win @ $2.23* Macarthur FC vs Newcastle Jets Macarthur FC (7th) have lost their last two matches but can still make the A-League finals as they are only one point behind 6th placed Central Coast. The Jets (9th) have been in poor form, losing their last three matches in convincing fashion. Newcastle’s is all but over, but Macarthur FC have it all to play for. Macarthur have a raft of talent on their squad and at their best they are a fantastic side, as seen during their five game undefeated streak to start the season. Suggested Bet: Macarthur FC WIN @ $2.07* *Odds correct as at 5pm, 28th April 2022. Market Market
