Western United vs Perth Glory

Western United have managed to hold on to their second placed position despite only managing one win in their last six A-League matches. They will be looking for some relief as they take on bottom placed Perth Glory who have not won a match in 16 fixtures.

Wellington Phoenix (5th) come into this match on a two-game win streak which includes a 1-0 win over Perth Glory and a dominant 4-1 away win over Western United, while the Central Coast Mariners (8th) overcame a red card and a two-goal deficit to draw 2-2 with Western Sydney.

Both sides have shown a desire to attack which can result in goals being scored against them on the counter. For the Phoenix, this was on full display the last time they played Central Coast which saw the Mariners win 5-0.
