Exciting staying prospect who stepped up to this trip last week for the first time and led throughout in a best of night time of 42.44. Prior form had been exceptional including a 36.44 win over the 647 metre trip at Mandurah and looks set to win a stack of races over the longer journeys. First class canine and looks awfully hard to hold out here.

Race 5 No. 6 MONARO MONELLI

Strong chaser who has been in stunning form winning his last 3 starts here over the 520 metres in 29.87, 30.27 and 30.18. Loves racing here over this distance where he has had 11 tries for 6 wins and 4 placings. Has overcome issues in running at his last couple and is chasing like a demon. Can make it four straight here.

Was most impressive here last week when zipping across to find the top and lead throughout to win by nearly 12 lengths in a best of night time of 34.71. She can be a little hit and miss but does relish going around over this trip and with a similar beginning to last week can zoom forward and take some stopping. The one to beat.
