Absolutely airborne this bloke, he’s won 4 of his last 5 and putting some fast time on the board in doing so, the best of them 4 wins was three starts back when he went 22.38, gets a low draw and should be to good for these, main danger in 8 Geordie Lad who’s been one of our regulars, but he’s just lacking a little in confidence at the present. They do look a good quinella.

Race 7 No. 2 Sunset Vendetta

Thought this fellow looked a good each way chance, fresh off victory last start in a very nippy 22.47, he really excels when he draws in close to the fence and finds the rail early, the favourite pair in 7 and 8 may come together early on and If Vendetta can get a sniff he will be flashing late. Happy to play him on an each way basis.

Race 8 No. 5 Impress Rocks

The veterans doing battle here and only a small field of 4, looks to be two hopes 5 and 1, just thought Impress Rocks could find the front, would need to set up a handy lead as Dasha in box 1 will be strong late, he’s just not been beginning well of late and that’s been costly for him, Impress Rocks to jump lead and win in the masters race of the evening.
