CANNINGTON

Race 4 No. 2 Sunset Capone

Stepping back up in trip after having a crack the Winter Sprint at Mandurah over the 400 metre trip, this race lacks early speed and just thought Capone got an easy lead, really just should lead for fun, obviously there are better and stronger dogs in the race but we have seen them a bit awkward in a field when they are back in the ruck. Happy to be on the guaranteed leader in this affair.

Tips: 2-7-4-3

Race 5 No. 6 Bangor Tiger

He’s a dog with a huge engine, can be tardy at box rise but he hasn’t been that bad lately, the dog next door in 5 has great early burn and likes to head to the rail asap, just thought if he came out ok he could get the Shepard across, and if he’s any where in striking distance up the back straight, look out as he’s very strong late.

Tips: 6-5-2-1

Race 10 No. 8 Ferndale Flyer

Beaten favourite at his last four outings, and the slow beginnings have proven very costly for the punters, the small field suits him here and even though he’s drawn the dreaded box 8, it shouldn’t worry him as he generally is slow out, it’s just a matter of staying out of trouble and going through his gears uninterrupted, think he can redeem himself tonight and get back into the winners circle.

Tips: 8-6-2-4
