Really liked the qualifying trial of this guy up at Cannington, flew out and ran 21.64 on that occasion, he’s beautifully bred and draws the Cherry on debut which is a big bonus. Great opportunity for him to make it win one at start one.

Race 5 No. 3 Giacomo

Victorian chaser over here trying to win the Mandurah Derby, he has a great record and he’s coming out of a 4th place finish in the Geelong Cup, so it’s big drop in the grades for him, winner 11 times from 31 starts. Looks to classy for these.

Tips: 3-5-4-8

Race 7 No. 4 Sunset Worm

Aiming up for Four on the bounce, one of his last wins was a very fast 29.68 up at headquarters, then returned to Mandurah last start and got the job done from box 8 which is a draw that is very hard to win from. He’s just in the zone at the moment, no need to jump off.
