He’s going great guns since he arrived in the west, been placed really well by his trainer Kody Charles, looks to sail to the top here off the wide draw, from there as we have seen he’s running blistering times on the clock. So if he gets to the lead I think he just wins.

Race 4 No. 8 Sunset Nightjar

Another dog who is a track and trip specialist, been racing ever so consistent, thought the 1 and 3 could bring each other undone early in a speed dual, while Nightjar can sweep around them and run over the top of them late, has a great record from the pink. Hard to beat.

Race 6 No. 1 Uncle Tommy

The reigning Perth Cup winner is off his fav red draw in this heat of the birthday cup, he’s had 6 starts for 5 wins from the Cherry, looks to be a match race between 1 and 2, and it was one of those races who ever drew the inside of the other would win, flip the boxes and most probably flip the result. We will lean slightly towards Tommy from the draw.
