Scott Embry’s Wednesday Pinjarra Preview Posted on July 22, 2025July 22, 2025 | Posted by Scott Embry RACE 1 SWIFT STREAKER was caught off the track throughout last week on the Fibre Sand at Bunbury in a race where they really rolled along throughout. Backing up, visors on instead of blinkers and kicks through to lead from barrier 1 against the fence. CHEST OUT SWAGGER has come back in good order this campaign had has attacked the line hard in both runs this prep. SPANGLEDSTAR hasn’t had much go her way this preparation and gets another rider change in an attempt to increase her fortunes. IRAYCHOUX wasn’t a bad trial for a horse on debut at 1600m. Numbers: 2 – 1 – 8 – 6 Suggested Bet – SWIFT STREAKER EACHWAY RACE 2 ASHPALT picks himself. He broke his maiden by 7L and then backed it up into a Westspeed Platinum 6 days later where he beat the likes of Cruise To Victory and History Won’t Care by an extending 2.6L margin. Wetter the better for him but don’t see 60kg, 1600m or a mere Soft6 stopping him the way he’s going. MASTER TACTICIAN beat him home two back and gets a 1.5kg weight swing to try and do so again. Just need to remember that Asphalt has come on in leaps and bounds since that encounter. CANNY JACK hasn’t won a race for a long while but he’s back to near his best. LADY DUCATI next best. Numbers: 1 – 4 – 5 – 8 Suggested Bet – ASPHALT WIN RACE 3 BULLETIN BEAU has always trialled like a horse with ability and happy to put my eggs in the Nine Ball / Bulletin Beau trial where they paired off on straightening and powered away from the rest of them. Like the map, like the horse and think he’s got genuine upside. Great set up for his return. BUNDABERG and FRIAR’S LEGACY (E1) are both 2 year olds taking on the older horses but both trialled like they would be making an impression at their return to racing and both are drawn favourably too. Respect the youngsters. AUTHORATIVE gives 110% but he might need further? Numbers: 2 – 9 – 11 – 1 Suggested Bet – BULLETIN BEAU WIN RACE 4 GOD SHE’S SASSY won her maiden by over 6L first-up and to be fair, that’s what punters expected her to do on debut as a 2 year old off the back of a booming trial where Paul Harvey rode 55kg just to stick with her. She might be finally putting it all together and looks in for a big prep. Just a bit concerned that she’ll go around ‘too short’ from the ‘wrong side’ of the straight. A LOT OF ROSES beat her last prep and meets her 1kg better for a 3L margin. THE MIGHTY BELL hasn’t run a bad race in her career. SILENT ARMADA sits back and waits on gaps. Numbers: 6 – 4 – 8 – 3 Suggested Bet – GOD SHE’S SASSY WIN RACE 5 WOZZECK has the strongest form against his name, dropping from a pair of C5/OMWLY (60+) races into a 50+ staying event, however, the query is naturally ‘will he stay?’. Always been that kind of horse who gets back, runs on late and gives the impression he will get further and given he’ll go around eachway happy to take the gamble and suggest that he answer is yes. BAY STREET ran well in a 54+ behind Starwalker two back and then never got into the contest last start. WHY ME has taken a while this prep but is on the improve now. BE AWESOME bolted in last start at 20-1 and gets a soft run. Numbers: 5 – 7 – 2 – 3 Suggested Bet – WOZZECK EACHWAY RACE 6 MR TALENTINO can be hit and miss, but on his day he’s more than capable in these 50+ races. Loved his fresh effort behind Bartime in a fast run 1400m and then put in a flat run second-up over 1675m on a Heavy8. Better suited to 2000m, better drawn, Shaun O’Donnell returns and he should be nearly eachway. SIROTA has had two runs for new trainer Josh Krispyn and they’ve been nearly career best. Luckless in the straight last start. ZERA BLUE (ZB to her loyal following) won well last start and Mack Hall’s yard just continues to produce winners. ROCH LEGACY hasn’t seen a race this weak in 4 years. Numbers: 5 – 7 – 8 – 1 Suggested Bet – MR TALENTINO EACHWAY RACE 7 PERFECT CHANT won a Saturday race on debut as a new season 3 year old filly and then first-up last preparation ran a slashing third behind Smooth Chino and London’s Image (finishing ahead of Shmoov Moova) so is clearly a horse that you get the best from fresh. Trialled super, maps to stalk the hot tempo set by King Adviso / Mean Feat / Frappuccino and with a split in the straight looks hard to hold out. SKYTALKER was excellent first-up with 61kg over 1000. MAI ALOHA is a sharp filly resuming off a nice trial alongside a first-up winner. HEY PINO trialled well and put in a blinder first-up. Good form race this. Numbers: 5 – 6 – 8 – 7 Suggested Bet – PERFECT CHANT WIN RACE 8 LEETRON suffered defeat for the first time in his life last start in a 60+ Graduation where he sat no better than three deep the trip. Was beaten a 6L margin but had no luck whatsoever and actually battled on alight when asked for an effort on straightening. Back in grade, drawn much more favourably and has versatility. RUN PATTIE RUN won well first-up, had excuses second-up and then charged home in a leader dominated event third-up. Going really well. MAGICAL SEQUENCE scratched from Saturday to save for this. WHERE’S MY LUNCH is coming out of a weaker race but impressively against the pattern. Numbers: 2 – 6 – 9 – 8 Suggested Bet – LEETRON EACHWAY RACE 9 SHOWLAS ran a really encouraging fifth in the Belmont Guineas behind Opportunistic, Storyville, Elite Missile and Redback Flyer and then stretched to the 2000m of the Belmont Oaks which was a bridge too far. Back in trip, back in grade and should slide across to breeze. From there she can bounce back. GAGE ROADS is Gage Roads but his two runs this prep have been solid and love the 3kg claim for Holly Nottle. WORCESTER makes his WA debut off two trials and the booking of Pike takes the attention. NOBLE CONNECTION is lightly raced and did impress first-up. Numbers: 4 – 1 – 7 – 2 Suggested Bet – SHOWLAS EACHWAY Quaddie (Race 6 – 9) 1,3,5,7,8 5,6,8 1,2,6,7,8,9 1,4,7 Market Market
