Scott Embry’s Tuesday Geraldton Preview Posted on November 5, 2018 | Posted by Scott Embry Scott Embry’s Preview Race 1 NOBEL KING has finally found his race! He has been a maiden for a long, long time but drawn to sit outside the lead and keep coming in a race where there is no obvious danger. Surely he gets it done. SHERU ran a nice race at his Geraldton debut and draws soft again. ROSSANA was poor last start but can bounce back to form in a weak race. FORTUNE MAKER is regally bred but yet to show much on the race track. Numbers: 1 – 9 – 6 – 3 Suggested Bet – NOBEL KING WIN Race 2 HOT STYLE has been absolutely flying in the provincial maidens from a long way off them. Draws badly again here but if he gets to the outside within 3 or 4 lengths should run them down. SUPER EXCEED has no weight and finds the fence. Great opportunity for Kate Southam to score at her riding debut. BULL BIZARRE has ability and will win a maiden but this is a reasonably strong one. SILVER CLOUD THREE is rarely far from the action but draws poorly. Numbers: 3 – 2 – 5 – 1 Suggested Bet – HOT STYLE WIN Race 3 INVINCIBLE WARRIOR looks your perfect Geraldton pick up horse. He has the speed to find the front and control the speed. If it is another hot rails day they’ll struggle to reel him in. SLICK MOVER has X-factor about him and with the right cart into the race can zap them. ARAFURA has wonderful fresh form and hit the line hard from a long way back first-up. FIELD OF VISION has poor numerical first-up form but more than enough ability to win this. Numbers: 5 – 4 – 2 – 1 Suggested Bet – INVINCIBLE WARRIOR WIN Race 4 BARAKI BEATS was a slowly away and then really fired up to find the lead. Entitled to fade late and was well beaten. If he jumps, and that is one big IF, he will be hard to run down. TRADE TALK has come back very well and can easily continue on his merry way. CALABRIA JOE has ability and much like Baraki Beats IF they can get him into and out of the gates will be right in it. DANEHILL MATILTA likely does it tough from the draw but has no weight. Numbers: 6 – 5 – 7 – 8 Suggested Bet – BARAKI BEATS WIN Race 5 VIAMMO was backed off the charts first-up and ran a huge race. Probably a bit disappointing on face value last start but steps out in trip and draws soft. TAKE NO PRISIONERS is fresh and back in trip. He can win this without surprising. SADLERS HILLS did a lot wrong in the run last start, gets back and winds up deep again. END OF THE ROAD was far from disgraced when coming out of maiden class and got a long way back and worked home alright. Numbers: 7 – 5 – 1 -2 Suggested Bet – VIAMMO EACHWAY Race 6 ROCK MYLADY has been a little costly to punters at his two starts in Geraldon. Got a long way back in a slowly run race first-up and then was three and four deep the trip when going down a half head second-up. Gets it soft here and looks his race. NATURAL LUCK went well fresh without a trial and should only improve here. VAN ISLAND is down in grade and this race is more than winnable for him. HUSSON MAID is an easy horse to ride and always gives 100%. If she gets up we’ll cop ‘YTG’ on social media for 6 weeks from Sarah Childs. Numbers: 3 – 8 – 2 – 5 Suggested Bet – ROCK MYLADY WIN Race 7 FREEZ’EMOFF is one of the biggest wins you will see at Geraldton all season. Incredible closing sections and won with her eyes closed. If she reproduces that they’re running for second. PARISA has always shown ability and looks the kind of horse who can progress through the grades. BIG SHOT PADDY is capable of running a race fresh but is probably better suited over a 1400. TIME AND TRUTH is drawn soft with no weight and went well last start. Numbers: 2 – 11 – 3 – 13 Suggested Bet – FREEZ’EMOFF WIN Quaddie (Race 4- 7) 5,6,7 1,2,5,7 2,3,5,8 2 Market Market
