Scott Embry’s Sunday Kalgoorlie Preview Posted on May 17, 2019 | Posted by Scott Embry Scott Embry’s Preview Race 1 A BIT SKETCHY comes back to Kalgoorlie and is in the care of a flying Ash Maley. This race has the speed required for her to lob out the back early and if she gets luck can definitely run over them. Hard to forget a 70+ win over Red Publisher and Where’s Wally. BELLS TOWER is in career best form which could see him as a Hannans Smoky. BOS TAURUS should get the right run on speed. PEGATEGO carries a big weight but Glenn Smith back is a huge positive (for Racing). Numbers: 5 – 2 – 3 – 1 Suggested Bet – A BIT SKETCHY WIN Race 2 MOONLIGHT’S REWARD was scratched refusing to load last start. If he brings his best behavior and his first-up run he should be leading them a merry dance and breaking his maiden. SIMPLE AS THAT continues to race well. KING OF PLANETS should pick one up soon for Mr Peter Fernie. FISHY improves off the first-up assignment. Numbers: 1 – 2 – 3 – 10 Suggested Bet – MOONLIGHT’S REWARD WIN Race 3 HARRELSON has been solid at all three career outings. Senior rider on, drawn the inside gate to get an economical passage. Should prove hard to beat here. MAY KEEP HIIM continues to run respectable races and continues to be well supported in betting late. EXPLOSION was a sharp improver at his second start for the Ross Craig yard. Further improvement sees him go close. SCREAM IN BLUE draws poorly but may appreciate being ridden cold. Numbers: 6 – 5 – 1 – 7 Suggested Bet – HARRELSON WIN Race 4 RARE SELECTION has gone to a new level since arriving back in Kalgoorlie. Only put in the one below par run but bounced back hard last start when savaging the line. Can win again. MAKURU is not a Kalgoorlie horse but she has been building towards notching her first win in the region. POINT is normally there abouts and ridden midfield he should be in the mix. MONASH draws well, is racing well and has no weight. Numbers: 3 – 5 – 4 – 11 Suggested Bet – RARE SELECTION WIN Race 5 IT’S DYNAMITE was a huge drifter fresh and almost defied the betting for her loyal followers. Glenn Smith on, drawn to get the right run for her and with a ton of speed those loyal followers will be hoping she can reproduce and go one better. TEMPLE MAN will get well off them but suited by the top end tempo. INDRIEL almost stole it last start but draws wide. WOCKNWOLL will need a super ride or some serious luck from out there. Numbers: 1 – 4 – 11 – 7 Suggested Bet – IT’S DYNAMITE WIN Race 6 FEARLESS GENERAL has only had two starts for the Cambana Lodge team but the maiden victory (when 26 into 4.4) was very impressive. He was knocked around last start coming into the corner and did a bit wrong but fresh here and G.Smith on can stalk the speed and bounce straight back. LADY LE JEAN runs for Lucy Warwick but could conceded them a fair start. EVOLUTIONIST looks to be right in the mix on East Coast form. VITAL TOUCH gets it soft. Numbers: 5 – 3 – 1 – 12 Suggested Bet – FEARLESS GENERAL WIN Race 7 GLUTEN FREE was a tough watch for backers last start. Never able to get going in running, rode five or six Byron Picketts and then still finished on the heels of the winner. Can return straight back to the winner’s circle with even luck. PELICAN PICK leads or box seats and was impressive winning at Northam. ILLMATIC was disappointing fresh but is better than that. RECAPITULATE has hit form and draws soft. Numbers: 7 – 5 – 9 – 11 Suggested Bet – GLUTEN FREE WIN Quaddie (Race 4 – 7) 2,3,4,5,11 1,4,7,11 1,3,5 5,7,9 Market Market
