Scott Embry’s Saturday Kalgoorlie Preview Posted on May 3, 2018 | Posted by Scott Embry Scott Embry’s Preview Race 1 ROGUE EMPRESS has impressive race form, but not nearly as impressive as the whisperings coming out of the Gold Fields regarding the emergence of a new training juggernaut in Josh Brown. Expecting big things and big market fluctuations. INIMITABLE has gone well at both starts in Kalgoorlie. WITCHY WAYS is always there abouts. SLUTPIN’ TURPIN could be allowed to roll. Numbers: 3 – 4 – 2 – 6 Suggested Bet – ROGUE EMPRESS WIN SuperPick - Race 1 No. 3 Rogue Empress - Win Boost Race 2 LADY HAWKE has shown nothing at races but trials have been sound and a change of environment could be the key. ICE ONE went close at his return and should only improve off that effort. TRANSITIONAL back to the short course is interesting, has been soft his last few. FLIRT’S OFFENCE could go better with shades. Numbers: 7 – 6 – 3 – 4 Suggested Bet – LADY HAWKE EACHWAY Race 3 WHERE’S WALLY is a city horse and looks destined to win this and then make a return to the metro area for his new trainer. If there was an all-in market for the Hannans he would feature prominently. CAROB is hard to catch but talented enough when on song. BEVEL should prove a nice Kalgoorlie aquisition. POETS PRICE next best. Numbers: 1 – 2 – 4 – 5 Suggested Bet – WHERE’S WALLY WIN Race 4 RIKKI TIKKI TAVI does look a perfect Glenn Smith horse and this race is no harder than his most recent contest. VONUS is not quite a 1200m horse but has been running eye catchers. PROHURST EXPRESS was nominated for the Northam Stakes which suggests they have him humming. STABLE SECRET could figure in the minors. Numbers: 3 – 5 – 1 – 6 Suggested Bet – RIKKI TIKKI TAVI WIN Race 5 BADGE OF COURAGE is a little hard to catch but he has the talent to win this if he was fully wound up. BELLS TOWER was heavily supported in a far tougher race last start. HOLD YOU TONGUE doesn’t win out of turn but fresh form is quite good. TIGER RED next best. Numbers: 3 – 1 – 2 – 7 Suggested Bet – BADGE OF COURAGE WIN Race 6 ALL SQUARE looked a good thing in a weak maiden and was supported accordingly. Can go on with it. MERVYN has his knockers but should lead them for a long way. CHASER needs everything to go his way and gets the speed on to suit. INDRIEL was impressive last start. Numbers: 4 – 1 – 7 – 5 Suggested Bet – ALL SQUARE WIN Race 7 BEAUCOUNT promised to be a very good horse and if he was anywhere near 100% should be right in the finish of a race like this. PYM’S ROYALE bolted in like a nice type in maiden company. Should be the testing material. SIRIUS PROSPECT has been below his best so far this campaign. FOXINATOR will run a big race soon. Numbers: 2 – 5 – 7 – 8 Suggested Bet – BEAUCOUNT WIN Quaddie (Race 4 – 7) 1,3,5,6 1,3 1,4 2,5 Bet Now
