Scott Embry’s Friday Narrogin Preview Posted on November 22, 2018 | Posted by Scott Embry Scott Embry’s Preview Race 1 EUPHONIOUS looked home for all money two starts ago when Cocky Dodd kicked back underneath it and won. Last start was a great effort in what should prove a strong form line. Short but should be winning. CHOSEN ART has shown ability at trials and should get every chance along the fence. SUN OF THE SUN trialed well enough without shades to give a sight. AY TEE EMM was a nice trial and could find the fence early. Numbers: 3 – 6 – 1 – 2 Suggested Bet – EUPHONIOUS WIN Race 2 ZERO DEMERITS has reasonable enough form from last preparation and trialed well for his first up assignment. Could end up outside the hot pot in the breeze and can definitely grind it down. SOUNDS OF THEN has gone under twice as an odds on pop and is almost certain to open deep in red figures again. Jury out. MUSIC BEAT was not knocked around at trials. CRACK A LIGHTNING comes from the same trial and was alright. Numbers: 1 – 7 – 4 – 3 Suggested Bet – ZERO DEMERITS WIN Race 3 ASHALILLY has come a long way from her Albany days and is really in form at the minute. Got involved in a bumping duel last start and Camilleri wisely eased her out of that. Hit the line well. BERGIO looks to have found his race. He was a bit plain on face value last start but won’t get a better chance than this. LAW MAJOR goes at Narrogin and York and Toodyay, must thrive off the undulating and tight tracks. This is winnable. TOPPA DAWOZZA was caught 18 deep last weekend, forgive him. Numbers: 7 – 2 – 6 – 1 Suggested Bet – ASHALILLY WIN Race 4 HYPERSPACE jumps straight to the front and runs them along. Was a brave effort when setting a strong tempo last start and was only savaged late by one who looks a nice type. CONTENTIONAL charged to the line a number of times last preparation. Stayer fresh. HIGHEST REGARD got knocked around on debut and steps up sharply in trip. RED HOT PRICE could improve. Numbers: 9 – 2 – 10 – 7 Suggested Bet – HYPERSPACE WIN Race 5 FRED DAG won like a horse who could progress through the grades. Looks to still be learning the caper but can sprint over them late if they’re making ground. REBELLIONAIRE holds the prized scalp of Debellatio but has not fired a solitary shot in a while. Back in trip, fresh and blinkers on. WA’s best NBA punter could be opening the wallet. WISE MONKEY took up the running in a slowly run race last start, box seats here most likely. YOU AM I is better than what he showed towards the end of last preparation, trialed well enough. Numbers: 5 – 2 – 1 – 4 Suggested Bet – FRED DAG WIN Race 6 COPPER FURY is 3 from 3 undefeated on the 930m circuit taking over the crown of former Narrogin King Bregenz. First-up run over 1000m at Bunbury was solid and if they let her cross they’ll be chasing. PUCK SHAPESHIFTER, TRANSGRESSOR and SECRET ASSAULT all come from the same race at Bunbury behind Bon Voyage and all three are legitimate winning chances. Slick little C5 race. Numbers: 6 – 1 – 2 – 3 Suggested Bet – COPPER FURY EACHWAY Race 7 DEALING looks to have fallen into a brilliant assignment first-up. His trial at Lark Hill over 950m was really good for a horse who will stay all day. Races close handy and should prove too strong late. CAPTAIN JACK will be big odds and if Forrest leads them from the inside he can improve sharply. CAMBO bounced back to a level of form last start but did get to walk them in front. LEXDEN GAMBLER hit the line well first-up and has ability. Numbers: 1 – 8 – 7 – 2 Suggested Bet – DEALING WIN Quaddie (Race 4 – 7) 2,9 1,2,3,4,5 1,2,3,5,6 1 Market Market
