Randwick 23 January – Thoroughbreds Preview Posted on January 22, 2016 | Posted by Chris Nelson Chris Nelson’s Tips RACE 1 No.1 Sooboog Team Hawkes trained galloper who resumes tomorrow having won a recent barrier trial which is always a good sign from this stable. Had excuses first up last campaign when pulling up sore, went on to win his next couple before being far from disgraced in Listed level behind Counterattack before being tipped out. Market moves our best guide however expecting a big return from this one. RACE 3 No.2 You’ll Never Chris Waller trained gelding who resumes from a spell tomorrow. Holds a very impressive first up record as well as a solid Soft track record which could be all important as there is plenty of rain around at present ensuring a wet surface of some sort tomorrow. Given an easy recent trial he looks well suited first up with Hugh Bowman to do the steering. RACE 6 No.5 Pioneering Another one from the Chris Waller yard (he has 5 of the 9 acceptors here). Had the 3 runs back from a break looking very unlucky first up when gaining clear running all too late, even effort second up before finishing off well last time out at Canterbury. Handles all ground and the mile should be perfect for her at this stage of her preparation. Best Bet: Race 1 No.1 Sooboog Best Value: Race 3 No.2 You’ll Never Quaddie: 1, 2, 5, 7 / 1, 4, 5 / 2, 3 / 1, 7 Bet Now
