RACE 3 No. 1 Outback Barbie

Very promising filly from the Tony Gollan stable who won well at Doomben on debut before running on strongly to place in the Magic Millions behind Sunlight 4 weeks later. She went around in a Gold Coast trial last week winning by almost 10 lengths not being pushed out and clocking extremely fast time in the process. Yes, she’s up against a very smart type in Estijaab tomorrow however each-way appeals very strongly.

RACE 4 No. 2 Performer

Unbeaten youngster well fancied to win the Golden Slipper in a couple of weeks. Arrived in the nick of time first up to overhaul the leader in the Canonbury which was a very slowly run affair. Both starts indicate he’s looking for further suggesting the 1200m tomorrow will be ideal and going further forward I’d expect to see him very competitive in races such as the Sires and Champagne Stakes.

RACE 6 No. 2 Clearly Innocent

Stradbroke placegetter last winter who resumed at Randwick recently when having zero luck in the straight, without doubt he should have finished closer than the official 2.4 length margin. Settling back (as usual) he went for a rails run early in the straight however ran into a dead end losing ground and momentum. Back to a clear last he then made up 3 lengths over the last 100m.
