Race 2 – No.5 AIRINO

On a day where the on speed runners are likely to be suited Airino is a natural on pace type and quite simply is the fastest horse in this field. The blinkers go on for this run and she should give a great sight.

Race 4 – No.1 BELUGA BLUE

Heads into this race with some handy South Australian form and won well last time out at Morphetville over the 1550 metres. Has to overcome a wide draw and top weight but does have tactical speed and should be able to find a reasonable slot in running. Is one at double figure odds that is capable of giving plenty of cheek.

Race 8 – No.8 HEART STARTER

Former WA galloper having his first preparation for Trainer Darren Weir. Has had three starts this time in and last time out ran third in the Echuca Cup over 1400 metres. Ran 7^th in the Group 1 Railway Stakes behind Scales Of Justice just five runs ago and looks well placed in this grade. Drawn nicely in barrier two and will carry just 53 kilos. Looks set to peak here.
