Michael McDermott’s Weekend Greyhound Preview Posted on July 13, 2018 | Posted by Michael McDermott Cannington Friday 13th July 2018 Race 2 – No. 3 Chevy Sheik Handy beginner who has been first to leave the boxes in all of his last 4 starts before being run down late in each. Resumes from a break and may prove too speedy over this trip. Race 7 – No. 1 Chips And Trains Prefers a wider draw but he will find this easier than last week’s Westchase heat when doing his best work late for 5th. With an ounce of luck early, he can overcome his red rug fears. Race 8 – No. 2 Em Morney Solid beginner who has finished in the medals in 13 of 19 over this trip. Recent form has been up and down but he has drawn favourably and will give plenty of cheek if pinging to the front. Bet Now! Cannington Saturday 14th July 2018 Race 2 – No. 1 Pride Of Charlie Narrowly beaten favourite last week but he did have excuses when missing the kick from an unfavourable draw. The return to the rails draw will help and he is expected to turn the tables on Iona Flyer here. Race 8 – No. 1 Tattooed Warrior Unplaced in each of his last 3 when no closer than midfield throughout but he returns to the coveted red rug and sharp improvement is expected here. Race 10 – No. 7 Ren Monelli Ran a good race over the trip 2 back when 2nd throughout in 30.14. Not having the best of luck with the draws since switching to headquarters but if she can get across early and sit close enough to the lead, she is capable of the upset. QUADDIE (Race 5 to 8): 1, 2, 3, 5 / 3, 4 / 1, 4, 7, 8 / 1, 2, 3, 7. $50 for 39.06% TRIFECTA – Race 3 4, 5, 7 / 4, 5, 7 / 1, 4, 5, 7, 8 $30 for 166.66% FIRST FOUR – Race 2 1 / 2, 3, 4, 6, 8 / 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 / 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. $50 for 40% Bet Now!
