Michael McDermott’s Weekend Greyhound Preview Posted on September 8, 2017 | Posted by Michael McDermott Mandurah Friday 8th September 2017 Race 1 – No. 4 Iridium Flare Led all the way from this very draw 4 runs ago in a PB 22.77. Recent runs have been solid without threatening in tougher and he gets his chance to break back into the winners circle this time. Race 8 – No. 7 West On Liam Never out of bother when dropping back to similar company last week. He does do his best work from closer in but should get plenty of room to move out here and with better luck in running he’ll be right in the finish. Race 9 – No. 5 Smooth Ride SuperPick – Money Back, Run 2nd Backmarker who makes his own luck in his races but he is right down in grade now and his last win was from this very draw. Sure to be fighting out the finish. Bet Now! Cannington 9th September 2017 Race 4 – No. 2 West On Hawkeye Has a hat trick of silver medals around his neck with his past couple behind the talented Neil Monelli. Was doing his best work late last week from a similar draw and only needs to avoid trouble on the first turn to play a big part in the finish again. Race 6 – No. 7 Mendoza Monelli Powerful finisher who was flooding home late again last week when 2nd to Astrozone in 29.89. He has posted a PB of 27.54 from this draw in the past and if close enough on the turn for home, he’ll prove hard to hold out this time. Race 7 – No. 1 Winsome Roxy SuperPick (Win Boost) Consistent without winning at her last 3 in slightly tougher lines up than this. She’s drawn favourably and should get a saloon passage on the first turn with a couple of wide running rivals directly to her outside. Has her best chance yet to break the drought. QUADDIE (Race 5 to 8): 3, 4, 6, 8 / 1, 7, 8 / 1, 3, 4, 6, 7 / 2, 3, 5. $50 for 27.77% TRIFECTA – Race 6 1, 7, 8 / 1, 7, 8 / 1, 2, 3, 4, 8. $30 for 200% FIRST FOUR – Race 5 3, 4, 6, 8 / 3, 4, 6, 8 / 1, 3, 4, 6, 8 / 1, 2, 3, 4, 7. 41.66% Bet Now!
