Race 4 – No. 3  Horton Monelli

Pay to overlook his latest outing when finding trouble on several occasions from the extreme outside. Has his favourite draw this time around and can making amends.

Race 5 – No. 3  Speed Bandit

Sustained early pressure from SLEEPY GEORGE (5) before he wilted late, racing away for a 5 1/2 length victory in a BON 27.45. In search of a hat trick and likely to achieve it if she lands on speed again.

Race 11 – No. 8  Western Run

Resumed over the 405m last week when worse than midfield throughout. Back up to a more suitable distance here and will appreciate the wider draw as he does like to use plenty of the track. Will be rocketing late and could surprise at odds.

Race 1 – No. 8  Bush Martini

Closed in nicely late to finish on the heels of placegetters last week from this draw. Will be fitter for the run and with an uninterrupted run in transit, she can cause the upset.

Race 2 – No. 3  Love and Danger

Stepping up in trip but he looks as though he’ll appreciate the extra journey. If he can stay out of early trouble, he will be in this for a long way and won’t need to break any records to win on debut at the T/D.

Race 7 – No. 6  Pilbara

Won on debut in WA from this draw over the trip when posting a handy 34.81. Unplaced just once since over varying T/D and should be in the thick of things at the business end again.

Race 11 – No. 6  Benidorm

Racing in a rich vein of form with wins in 4 of her past 5 now, including her latest in a PB of 21.67. Unplaced just the once in 6 efforts over the trip too and she looks hard to hold out once more.

Race 1 – No. 1  Smooth Move

Has drawn favourably on debut. Not the strongest of line ups to bump into first up and if she can stay on the straight and narrow as opposed to her trial, she should go close to winning this. Give plenty of thought.

Race 6 – No. 3  Finest Moment

Back to her best with a smart all the way 21.89 win last week from the middle of the line. This is no tougher and will be hard to catch again if she pings the lids.

Race 7 – No. 7  Kapito

Yet to win from any wider than box 5 but he was mighty impressive last start when having to work in confined spaces. He should appreciate room to move out here this time around and with improvement at box rise, he can go back to back.

Race 10 – No. 3  Cyclone Harry

Solid placings in modest times over the 405m at Mandurah in recent weeks. Back to where he does his best work and a win would not surprise.
