Michael McDermott’s Weekend Greyhound Preview Posted on August 28, 2020 | Posted by Michael McDermott Mandurah Friday, 28th August 2020 Race 4 – No. 4 Turbo Fun Will find this easier than his two recent outings in FFA company where he had no luck in each. Prior to that he was a smart BON 22.45 winner in similar and looks set to rebound with a swift exit. Race 8 – No. 4 Try Catch Me Showed he was up to the trip when scooting around here in 22.67 last week when leading all the way from a wide draw. This field has more depth but will prove hard to catch again with a similar effort. Race 11 – No. 5 Cheeky Ricky Back to his best with a BON 22.74 win in Country Company last start, leading all the way from a similar draw. Tougher here but if he pings, he can go all the way again. Each Way: Race 7 – No. 5 Steampunk Wolf Was a good thing beaten last week when finding an abundance of early trouble prior to flooding home for a narrow 3rd when beaten half a length. Better luck in running can see him make amends in this. Quaddie (Race 5 to 8): 1.5 / 2.4 / 1.3.5.8 / 1.3.4 $50 for 104.16% Bet Now! Bet Now! Cannington Saturday, 29th August 2020 Race 3 – No. 1 All Zipped Up Low flying over the 490m at Mandurah with a hat trick of all the way wins, all in BON times and from worse draws than this. Has had 14 tries over this journey, with his best effort a 29.79 victory from this very alley and looks set to add another picket to the fence. Race 6 – No. 5 More Deductions Can be risky early but he does have a big motor and is a 4 time winner over this trip from 10 tries so far and has broke 30 seconds in 6 of those outings. The small line up suits and he can land his first win since early July. Race 8 – No. 3 Sunset Hellfire Jumping with purpose from outside boxes, finishing on the podium in all 3 runs to date. A similar exit from his best draw yet should see him prove too slick for this line up. Each Way: Race 2 – No. 3 Jett’s Cracker Game in defeat when leading a long way in her 600m return before being nabbed in the shadows of the post, finishing 3rd at juicy odds. Better for the outing and is more than capable of hanging on this time. Quaddie (Race 5 to 8): 3.4.7.8 / 5.7.8 / 2.3.4.5 / 3 $50 for 104.16% Trifecta – Race 2 1.3.5 / 1.3.4.5.8 / 1.2.3.4.5.6.8 $30 for 50% First Four – Race 3 1 / 3.4.5 / 3.4.5 / 2.3.4.5 50 for 416.66% Bet Now! Bet Now! Cannington Sunday, 28th August 2020 Race 1 – No. 3 La Gypsy Belle Trialled nicely over the trip when leading all the way from a similar draw, posting a solid 22.13. Tougher under full race conditions but if she jumps as well as she did on that occasion, they’ll have a hard time running her down. Race 4 – No. 2 Curium Beaten less than a length by a good one last start when 2nd in a new PB of 16.04. Much better drawn for this and can go one better. Race 5 – No. 4 Sapphire Rose Slick beginner who can be shaky at the business end if she doesn’t pinch a big enough break on her rivals. She should find this easier than recent outings though and should be in this for a mighty long way again. Bet Now! Bet Now!
