Race 6 – No. 7  West On Jack

Impressed in his middle distance debut at Cannington when leading all the way but hasn’t had it is own way at his last couple when well supported over that trip. Back to his favourite course and is capable of showing his rivals up.

Race 7 – No. 3  Banjo’s Girl

Back to her best when producing a scintillating all the way win last week when holding off the strong finishing Willie Gundi (1) in 27.51. Looks set to go back to back for just the second time in her career.

Race 8 – No. 3  On The Take

Consistent chaser who will find this a smidgen easier than last week’s 3rd in an action packed 2/3 grade. Yet to miss a place in white and will be running on solidly at the finish.

Roughie:

Race 5 – No. 3  Fantastic Zip

Bombed the start then ran into bother before charging late into 2nd last week. Overdue for a change of luck and tonight could be his night.

Rewarded for consistency when leading all the way in easier country company. Has the same draw again and can repeat the dose.

Race 4 – No. 4 Grace Ali

Yet to finish further back than 2nd in 6 starts over 520m and she is unbeaten in blue. She’ll be strong at the finish and should get the cart across early. Appeals firmly.

Race 7 – No. 1  Cosmic Gas

Vaporized his rivals when essentially leading all the way in good time from a worse draw than this on debut over the trip last week. Will take a power of beating again.

Roughie:

 Race 9 – No. 1  Mercedes Monelli

Has the draw she wants and after a string of luckless efforts, she can bounce back to winning form at decent odds.
