Race 3 – No. 4  Diamond Pete

Had excuses in tougher last week when prominent early on before being squeezed out to toward the rear. If given room early on, he can prove too strong for this line up at the finish.

Race 5 – No. 1  Makuru

Bombed the start last week when in search of a hat trick, racing never closer than midfield throughout for 6th. Aided by the rails draw for this and can make amends with improvement at box rise.

Race 8 – No. 7  Kinjarling

Unlucky not to finish closer than he did last week when getting stuck in traffic early. Ran on strongly late to miss by a neck in 27.81 and he, like his brother Makuru, can go much closer tonight.
