Race 3 – No. 2  Volute

Good without winning on debut when run down late in 30.26 after overcoming a couple of early bumps from an awkward draw. Fitter for the run and the stripes will help. Can go one better.

Race 5 – No. 1  Jet A One

Looks to have finally found his confidence, finishing 2nd in a solid 30.25 after a few well-held efforts post his injury-enforced spell. Drawn to get a soft run along the rails and should give plenty of cheek again in this line up.

Race 8 – No. 8  Owl Jai

Proved too strong from this very draw four starts ago for VARIATION (1) & WEST ON MIA (3), leading all the way in 30.11. Has won since in a PB of 30.05 last week from another awkward draw and can go on with it now. Must be respected.
