Race 1 – No. 6  Spare A Square

Showed plenty of early dash to find the front from a similar draw at Mandurah in her lone trial before being dragged down from behind and eventually finishing in midfield. A similar jump will leave her supporters voices sounding flinty and her rivals heads spinning like a top.

Race 2 – No. 1  Transpire

Has only missed the place twice in 9 runs over this short trip and his last victory came from this very box when leading all the way in a PB of 16.17. Struck form last start with a 302m 2nd at Mandurah and he can go on with the job now.

Race 8 – No. 2  Akali

Nicely-bred chaser who was game on debut in WA from a poor draw when 3rd throughout in a solid 16.20. Fitter for the run and can go much closer from the improved alley.
