Harry Buchanan’s Wednesday Greyhound Tips Posted on February 1, 2023March 10, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 3 No. 8 Row Keeping and No. 1 Mr Clutch The 8 has been as stiff as a rusty door hinge his last two. Been clipped both times trying to lead into the back and gets his chance here courtesy of slow beginners and Bionic Polly spearing towards the fence in 6. The 1 descends on these if he is remotely close at the top. They will never hold him off and he has the box to get there. His early speed may be the issue but will threaten if he holds his spot. Race 4 No. 3 Because Of You Has been super his last couple for us and looks ready to lead here with a clean step. Racing well and doing enough on the clock to win this if he gets that arm to himself into the back. Race 5 No. 4 Sunset Daphne Well she’s at bolter’s odds but this is a map that just might play into her pattern at the first turn. We’ve got a dog in 5 going 5.45 to the mark while there are then a group going 5.50. There is a big chance first turn trouble ensues here and Daphne just needs to smoke the pipe on the fence and she can capitalise. She is strong and can hit the frame with first turn luck. Don’t dismiss her on the EW. Race 6 No. 8 Carlecatup Big effort last time from this girl considering she didn’t get her preferred lure spot early. Ran on from off the arm and ran on well. Will step better this time and if she gets a over, which she can, she will take a lot of catching. Race 8 No. 5 Little Miss Ava and No. 8 Izuku These two can surprise here. Both coming out of the same race, they ran on well after having no early luck. Time wasn’t great as leader wandered around and gave the race away but this is no stronger and they can both get into it much quicker this time. Race 12 No. 7 Amy Belle Well she knows how to run a place. Not from lack of trying however and her last run was good enough to see her figure here. Handles all draws with her box manners and can settle handy this week and run low to sub 22 to go close. WENTWORTH PARK Race 7 No. 5 Hold Me Up Very good dog coming out of a harder race where he was super running on. Only has to offset the box here and goes very fast up the back where he wins his races. Top show. THE MEADOWS Race 4 No. 6 Who Told Shorty Looks thrown in here and some. Class runner who has panels on this field and has raced far superior opposition most his career. Bad luck his only problem here. That shouldn’t stop him either. He only beats himself for mine. The graded runner of the day. Race 6 No. 5 Piscopo Bale She has a good set of gears this dog and while the box has to be dealt with, she has shown before that she can and offset any traffic. Good in a field and will look to run into this through the back. Hard to beat. Race 8 No. 2 Big Bertha and No. 3 Mcivor Roxy The 2 is coming off a let up of a month which is always a concern for stayers but she is the best stayer in the race and the kennel don’t start them until they are right. Her best wins. Fitness the only issue. The 3 is a smoky here who can settle forward and one pace herself to the line all day. Stronger than most these, she can surprise EW. Race 9 No. 3 Jigglypuff Well she was meant to get her last chance on Saturday but again found trouble after being posted and punched back off the outside draw. Gets an even easier race here and finally draws in somewhere near the fence. Not sure what excuse she can pull this time. Her best will hit top-two. If it doesn’t then she isn’t putting in and won’t get us again. No more after this so must produce. Market Market
