Harry Buchanan’s Wednesday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on May 8, 2024May 8, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 2 No. 5 Bling It Black and No. 4 Gnarly Nala It is simply not possible for these two to find an easier maiden. If neither can win this, and even quinella the race, you couldn’t back then again any time soon. The remaining runners are slow beginners who just don’t run time. No excuses for either the 4 or 5, zero, none. Race 4 No. 7 Emmy Nakayama and No. 6 Dozen Staples A couple of regulars who are both 2nd up after good runs last week. Will strip fitter and both run the 22.10/20 to win this. The 7 gets up there early. The 6 runs on from midfield. Either can hit top two in this even affair. Small specs only though on the EW. Race 5 No. 1 Jumpin Jules and No. 7 Whiskey On Rocks As limited a country FFA as you will see with the exception of 4 and 6 who are proper 380 campaigners and will be hard to beat albeit short. Both have slightly sticky maps if they don’t step so playing the blowout in 1, who could hold up here early and the 7, who will be charging home late. Nothing silly but it’s winnable for most of these. Race 6 No. 2 Cherry Blue Should just spear on to the arm again here. Has come back even better this time in and getting her act fully together. Goes under the 22 and rarely misses the start. If she leads here it should be over. Race 8 No. 3 Classic Style and No. 6 Raw Steel Finally!! The 3 draws what resembles a decent box. Has been plagued by hitter draws that looked like they wouldn’t end and was met with just as much bad luck from that. We will see a very different dog here if she steps and she should be a price. The 6 is also a winning chance in a race if very few. Consistent and can get up there or come from back. Save him. The 3 is the go however and will be disappointing if she doesn’t capitalise on this draw. Race 9 No. 7 No Trace and No. 3 Outstride The 7 is under rated and getting better. Can dash up out wide and if he gets a clear run, he will take some stopping here. The 3 is an even sort but he knows how to get into these and will push up early as he does to make a solid run home. No star but will get himself in play in this company. THE MEADOWS Race 2 No. 2 Cabao Marble Race 6 No. 4 Mighty Quinn Race 8 No. 1 Cindy’s Charm and No. 8 Armagh Race 9 No. 6 Bomb Neave Market Market
