Harry Buchanan’s Wednesday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on September 13, 2023September 13, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 5 No. 1 Anasazi Monelli This is it. Her best chance to break through and get the win that has alluded her lately. Boxed to step and push up into the spot where she becomes very hard to hold out late. Could even lead throughout. Big show now. Race 6 No. 5 Molfetta Drive and No. 4 Storm Alert The 5 met more trouble than a teenager out on a Friday night last start. Wanted to do nothing but get off the track and met trouble after trouble. Much better than that and can stun these. The 4 made some poor decisions on the the run last time and a clearer run this time will see him improve. Don’t dismiss him. Race 8 No. 5 It’s A Dime and No. 4 Bang The 5 is a chance here. Missed it over the middle trip last time but she could land closer than usual over this distance here. Very strong and will appear late. The 4 will find the arm one day soon and there is no early inside him here. It could be today. Will need a break but with a few suspect characters drawn in, he might get his chance at odds. Race 10 No. 3 Ninja Fun and No. 7 Corrupted Ignore the form on the 3. She can spear out here and find the arm. A very different dog when she does. Her best step will see her lead easily. The 7 showed an improved run last time. Slow early but made sustained ground and closed off well. He will look for the fence off a slow getaway and deliver a strong last section again. EW for him. Race 11 No. 3 Trendy Miss and No. 6 Apollo Fun The 3 could be the first on the scene behind the red here and she will make sure he works overtime for it. Can get past him with a little luck. The 6 is getting back to his best and will push out early and look for the top out wide. Hard to catch if he secures the arm solo. A race that lacks depth and they both get their chance here. Race 12 No. 3 Snoods Crumbs and No. 2 My Dad’s Augie The 3 will try and lead these and he should this time if he steps his best. Last few here have been good and he’s ready to break through. The 2 will be a big danger if he gets a clean run into the back. Shows speed on occasion as well but sticks in regardless. Watch for him at the EW. Both dogs can figure. Market Market
