Harry Buchanan’s Tuesday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on August 8, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 4 No. 8 Pad Up Declan and No. 6 Kiki Sunrise Let’s tangle with the maidens again. The 8 jumped well last week but was collected soon after and put out of business. The move to the outside a huge plus and he goes much better than he showed first go. This is where the 6 can finally break the maiden. Good box speed and runs the time to get it done here if she crosses and leads or sits close. This is her best chance to date. Race 6 No. 7 Split Decision and No. 1 Kakadu Storm 7 well drawn off. Sweeps around the field and comfortable off the track making his runs. Can sometimes be tardy early but he sustains a good run home and can figure here. The 1 has the box to surprise these. Can punch up and he sticks on well over this trip and will get every chance here. Don’t dismiss him at the odds. Race 7 No. 7 All Over Kaisha Sometimes you just have to go with the dog you know will decimate a field if the run comes. That’s what will happen here is she gets over and gets an early look. Could beat these like twice if she wanted to and it will be won or lost in the first 50m. If she gets that arm at any stage, then watch the rest of the field and the gap widen quickly. Trust needed here but can win if she wants to. Race 10 No. 1 Chloe Ant and No. 5 Spider Venom The 1 should be getting it done here. She’s better than these and boxed to go very close. Small field suits and has class on the field with the strong race she comes out of last time. The 5 is the clear danger and while he’s running out of chances, the red is the only one capable of holding him off if he gets a look. Comes out of the same race as her and they should fight it out here and not a single excuse against this field. Race 12 No.6 Opie Monelli and No. 5 Born A Star The 6 could stun these if he navigates a passage into the back. Runs home hard and starts that run up the back. Has won a few times off the draw and is a great EW play here. The 5 the danger and a big one if she leads. Has been racing good dogs a long time over this track and trip and handles all boxes. Steps cleanly and if she finds the top, that would be it. Save on her. Market Market
