Harry Buchanan’s Tuesday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on August 1, 2023August 1, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 4 No. 6 Bear Of All Has continued to get absolutely no early luck off this corner start but has the ability to win if he can just find the top here. Draw a fraction tricky again but the 5 will give him the cart up here and he could break through with a good step this time. Race 5 No. 5 Chloe Ant and No. 3 Spider Venom The 5 will be double figures but she will give a sight here. The 4 begins quickly and carves in and she could get some room to land close and she is very strong over this trip. One last chance for the 3 here. Counting on the red to use his muster and cause some trouble at the first turn and looking for the 3 to get the run. He’s capable. This fav very short for a dog resuming who has tricks. Fastest dog but happy to take on with the EW goes. Race 7 No. 1 Greek Sensation and No. 3 Red Hot Annie Start all important for the 1. If she can begin here and hold her spot into the back then she’s a huge threat. If she leads solo, I don’t think they will catch her. Boxed to go close. The 3 disappointed last time but she’s better than that. Can come out a lot quicker and only needs a forward spot to be there at the end. Don’t ignore her. Race 8 No. 7 Stella Forever and No. 5 Redhead Rider This could get messy. The 7 is better off missing the start here as a few of these will want off going into the back. He’s strong and goes fast through the middle section. EW for him. The 5 is the best dog in the race but he needs that arm or close to it. Should he spear out here and find himself rolling out front, they will struggle to get him. Needs his best step. Race 9 No. 4 Dandalup Ruby Early scratching so top-two divs only here. The 4 could fill one of those slots. She’s been racing slightly tougher opposition and looks suited here at a price. If she can navigate a forward slot before the turn, she will sustain the run home and give these plenty to worry about. Can surprise. Race 10 No. 8 Split Decision He’s got his box and now he just has to use it. Needs to step better this time and can sweep around to take the arm if he does. Fair effort last time after a good 2nd prior and priced to play EW. Could run good time for grade if he found the top here and will be hard to hold out late if he’s close. Race 11 No. 5 Zeak Constantly hitting the frame and poised to do so again here. Likes to get out to the middle of the track and can lead or come from off them. Handles all draws and will again give his regular sight to run his low to sub 22 and be in the finish. Race 12 No. 1 Magnesium and No. 3 Small Demeanour The red just wins here if he comes out like he usually does. Runs the time these can’t and simply a matter of using the draw and his early speed to put these away. Should he make an error, the 3 is capable and could get into this. Was steady last week but he’s better than that and can run an early split. Worth a save but the 1 should get it done. Market Market
