Harry Buchanan’s Tuesday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on September 19, 2023September 19, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 6 No. 1 Rare Speed and No. 3 Emmy Nakayama The 1 was dynamite last week at her first start. Stepped on but accelerates quickly and set the clock alight. A repeat wins. The 3 could go better here and gets a save. Well boxed now and can come from off the arm as well. Will run into this with any luck late. Race 7 No. 3 Blue Passion Looks close to scoring. Boxed ok and just needs a decent step here to be a major presence. Good effort last week when placing and this is slightly easier. Getting stronger and ready to figure here with a good first section. Race 8 No. 3 Jumpin’ Jules and No. 4 Pea Pettigrew The 3 ran a great race last week and expect her to again show speed and she could lead again this time. Will be harder to catch this week if she does. The 4 was superb last week when he came out running and gave nothing else a chance winning by panels. A repeat sees him up there early and huge threat late. Race 10 No. 6 Daughter Of Fun and No. 4 Quick Mick The 6 is better drawn off the track and this look more suitable. She is a little inconsistent at box rise but when she nails it, she is very hard to catch. The 4 will get a nice run here and the step up in trip is good now. Could lead or find an inside run into the back and he will keep coming late. Race 12 No. 4 All Spiked Up The best EW play of the night. Will stay out of the early battle then cut loose up the back with that big turn of foot he has over the trip through the middle section. If he finds the arm at any stage after that, this is over. He just needs to get there through a little traffic. Massive quote for a dog who has raced much harder opposition than this.
