Harry Buchanans Thursday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on January 18, 2024January 18, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch MANDURAH Race 3 No. 7 Aussie Singman and No. 1 Impress Kerr The 7 was good last week when dropping back to this trip. Will again push up early and can go one better this time with a repeat effort. The 1 will show speed off the inside. She has good muster and will be hard to catch if she holds up first turn. Race 4 No. 6 Esperance Ace Getting out to where he wants to be. Ducks off first turn so won’t have to worry about this here and if he brings his good step and early toe, he’s the one to catch. If he gets the arm, they won’t catch him at all. Race 6 No. 2 Tarzan This is his chance now back to his best trip. Well boxed and can show dash here and has the fastest PB of this lot. Runs time when he gets his own way in front and will have every chance to get that here. No excuses. Race 9 No. 8 Maximum Carnage and No. 5 West On Outlaw The punters left it in last week on the 8. Missed the start then wanted to push off the inside and get wide. Coming off a fast trial, he gets one more go to use this draw to rush up and do something closer to his best which will win. Each way quote will make him a good EW bet. The 5 will be the one to beat and gets the save. Only has to offset the box to be hard to stop. SANDOWN PARK Race 2 No. 7 Wincey Bale Progressive type out of the mighty Fanta Bale. Yet to look anything like her champion mother but she does have talent and looks suited to Sandown. Has registered good time at The Meadows and can come from anywhere in the run. Great EW show. Race 5 No. 2 Kadence Bale Beautifully drawn here and just needs to show a little dash to track the red up early. Her last few have been super and if she’s close up the back, she will take a heap of stopping to at least hit the frame. Place heavy player here. Race 6 No. 4 Hector Fawley Weapon who can reel off phenomenal sectionals when he has clear galloping room. Already a scr with no reserves so he might just land real close in this and then good luck holding him out. Nothing will charge home harder here and serious time would be on the cards. Race 7 No. 2 Winnington Bale and No. 1 Willa Bale The 2 finally draws a box. Been working overtime off bad draws to get into striking spots and does his best work once he finds the fence. Each way all day here. The 1 can lack a little early speed but she is also well drawn and has some good wins here and will keep coming through the line. Keep safe. Race 10 No. 7 Succeed and No. 1 Fabs Vegetable The 7 has a serious engine and while his box manners have let him down lately, this small field will help and just needs a clear look. Has a blistering 33.80 here and that just wins this and he is best bet to hit top two. The 1 has his box and went 33.93 the last time he drew this box here leading throughout. Will prove hard to stop. Race 12 No. 2 Stella Girl She’s a little hot and cold but this small field and drop in class gives her a real show. Ran 3rd to Zoha Bale last start at Ballarat and that alone makes her very hard to beat in this. Top two prospect. Market Market
