Harry Buchanan’s Thursday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on November 9, 2023November 9, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch MANDURAH Race 1 No. 2 Zen On and No. 3 Zen Tokyo Both these kennel mates look suited to this track now. The 3 has a little more early talent than the 4 but don’t be surprised to see either of them enjoy the bigger runs and hit the frame. Race 3 No. 6 Sequential and No. 8 Improvise The 6 gets in well at the grades here and she can step and go fast at her best. If she leads she will take some stopping. The 8 will enjoy this circuit. Goes fast off the mat and the wide draw perfect. Can figure here. Race 4 No. 7 Sunset Mirage and No. 2 Pumping Gas The 7 has a stack on these. Only has to handle the corner start and track and he puts these away. If he makes an error, the 2 will surprise. Strong railing type who will like the corner start and settle up close. Race 6 No. 3 Ice King and No. 6 Timmy Timebomb The 3 might find his best manners here at this track. He could give these a shock if he comes out running. The same applies to the 6. Good stepper who has early burn and could show them a clean set. Good race with several chances though. Race 9 No. 8 Escapologist and No. 1 Lady Josie The 8 has been crying to get away from a corner start and gets that now. She can drop on these and not get too far back. The 1 can also surprise here and she has her box. Can run a good race if she holds the arm early. Don’t ignore. Race 10 No. 8 El Salvador Will go fast here and if she hops across with little trouble they won’t stop her. Track and trip ideal here and will take some stopping of she comes out running. SANDOWN PARK Race 4 No. 1 Redeemer Blue Superb run last week when finding trouble again early but storming home to run 2nd behind the 2 on this. Should have won and can turn the tables and run top 2 again. Race 6 No. 1 Stomping Can run the clock to ash if he wants to. He’s boxed to do just that after huge runs at Geelong through the derby series and should give these too much to handle. Good dog. Race 8 No. 4 Here Comes Artie Can cause an upset here if he is first dog on the 2s tail. Has put in some big provincial efforts and can come from anywhere in the field. Needs to hit top 2 but can do so with a little luck at a good price. Race 9 No. 1 Zippy Tesla Ready to strike now 2nd run back in his proper kennel after he went backwards in NSW on the back of a confusing kennel placement. Boxed exactly where he wants to be and not many get home harder in this. Should hit top two here Race 11 No. 2 Al’s Entity and No. 8 Nitro Harvey The 2 has any amount of talent but thinks just as much when he wants to. Will start a run up the back and if he’s switched on, he will get over these late. The 8 was super first up from Tassie. Like well drawn now and he’s the only other dog who can come off the arm here so look for him up the back too. Market Market
