Harry Buchanan’s Thursday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on October 26, 2023October 26, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch NORTHAM Race 2 No. 7 Go Gettem Buzz Has a surprisingly good turn of foot off the mat and well drawn off here. Don’t be stunned to see him out muster these and keep on going. Race 3 No. 6 Cheetah Magic Was a monster effort last week and while the time was steady, she has taken to this circuit more and more each week. Just needs to find a first turn slot then she will run into it from there and can hit the frame. Race 4 No. 8 All Over Kora While box 8 isn’t her go, she has won from out here and there is a bit of speed inside that could get messy. Will push up out wide and run home with a trouble free passage to be hard to stop. Race 5 No. 7 Miss Valentine Out of her skin is the only way to describe last weeks run. Showed good pace but more surprisingly, she stuck right on to the end over this trip and a repeat of that makes her a monster hope here. She can win. Each way go at the very least. Race 8 No. 8 Athena Girl and No. 5 Improvise The 8 was stiff last week when she pushed into a forward slot only to cop the check and pushed back through the field. Has a good record of wide boxes and can figure with a clean step. The 5 continues to race well here and makes a fast run through the middles stages to put herself in the finish. Can do so again here against these. SANDOWN PARK Race 3 No. 1 Quebec Bale Well boxed here and has a lethal record off the red. Will muster up to the forward spot and has been racing far harder opposition than this. Chance to bounce back into the winners list. Race 4 No. 7 Zinzan Chopper and No. 2 Tammy The 7 has a big motor as he shown in his heat. Can wind up hard and the draw isn’t that bad here as he likes to get out to the middle. The 2 stuck on well despite a few checks in the same heat and she is drawn to improve. Save each way on her. Race 5 No. 6 Aston Michigan Talented middle distance dog who just needs some early luck. He sustains a long and strong run home and has a good record here. Just needs to step a little better than his recent runs to be a force. Race 7 No. 5 Akina Jack and No. 4 Multi Matt Messy map here. The 5 ran out of his skin two starts back and no luck last week. Can drop to the fence and the runs will come and he has a booming last section. The 4 missed the start last week but he’s better than that. Could get up behind the 3 here and is strong in the back end. Can figure. Both dogs a top each way hope. Race 8 No. 3 Launch Code and No. 8 Big Energy The Cranbourne Cup final. The 3 needs to nail the start and get right on the reds doorstep early. He could go on with it from there. The 8 was sublime last week and is drawn to rush down the outside early and take up a spot. Runs time and will be hard to beat if he lands right on the pace again. Good race, many chances. Race 10 No. 6 Trending Zari This will be run to suit her here. These weaker pace makers will work hard for the arm and she just smokes the pipe and unleashes up the back. Hard to hold out here with her strong last section. Race 11 No. 6 Trending Yale Like her kennel mate, she will lob to the fence and look for runs into the back. That’s when her staying form will come into play. Another good go to the first turn and she won’t be in it. Hard to stop late if she’s close. Race 12 No. 4 Dash Express and No. 5 Heffernan Bale The 4 will relish dropping back in distance. He can get up there early and stick on this time. Can also come from off the arm. Just needs a spot early. The 5 was good last two starts and he’s ready. Saves his best for here and only has to offset the box to be a threat in this. Easiest he’s faced for a while. Market Market
